In My Home: My home is pet-friendly with a decent-sized fenced yard. Because I work from home, pets in my care receive continuous supervision and interaction. I integrate playtime, walks, and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. I have a large space in my home right now that's not occupied. If multiple pets are in my care, I ensure that each has its own designated space. I am vigilant about monitoring pets' health, including their eating habits, bathroom routines, and overall well-being. Any changes are promptly communicated to the owner. In Your Home: Before starting any pet care service, I engage in detailed discussions with clients to understand their pet's specific needs, preferences, and any health considerations. I adhere to the rules and guidelines set by the pet owners for their homes. This includes respecting feeding schedules, administering medications as needed, and maintaining a clean and organized living space. I communicate proactively with clients and ensure they are updated promptly on their pet's well-being.

A typical day

As a pet sitter, my typical day revolves around ensuring the well-being and happiness of the furry companions entrusted to my care. Here's a glimpse into what a day in my pawsome world looks like: Morning: Breakfast and Morning Playtime: I start the day by providing a nutritious breakfast for each pet, adhering to any specific dietary requirements. After that, it's playtime! Whether it's a game of fetch, a romp in the backyard, or some interactive toys, I make sure to kick off the day with positive energy. Health Check: I conduct a brief health check to ensure all pets are feeling their best. This includes monitoring their behavior, and checking for any signs of discomfort. Afternoon: Midday Walks and Exercise: For dogs, a midday walk is a great way to break up the day and provide them with the exercise they need. Cats might enjoy some interactive play or a cozy spot in the sun. Each pet receives personalized attention based on their preferences and energy levels. Mealtime and Treats: Lunch is served! I follow any feeding schedules provided by the pet parent and ensure that each pet gets their fair share of treats for good behavior. Positive reinforcement is key to a happy and well-behaved pet. Evening: Evening Play and Cuddle Sessions: After a day of activities, it's time for more play and cuddle sessions. Whether it's a quiet moment of bonding with a cat or an active play session with a dog, I adapt to the unique personalities of each pet. Dinner and Wind Down: The evening meal is served, and I take the time to wind down with the pets. This could involve calming activities, such as brushing or simply spending quiet time together, ensuring a sense of security and comfort before bedtime. Night: Bedtime Routine: Before the lights go out, I make sure each pet is comfortable and settled for the night. This may include a final potty break for dogs or ensuring a cozy sleeping spot for cats. I'm attentive to any nighttime routines or specific requirements outlined by the pet parent. Updates for Pet Parents: Throughout the day, I keep pet parents informed with updates, photos, and any noteworthy observations. Clear communication is key to providing peace of mind to the loving owners.

Pet care experience

Hello there! I'm Yiping, and I'm not just your average pet sitter – I'm a devoted animal enthusiast with a paw-some background! With three years of volunteer experience at an animal shelter in UP and seven years of being a proud cat parent, I understand the unique needs and quirks of our furry friends. My journey with animals began in the shelter, where I learned the importance of patience, love, and creating a secure environment for our four-legged companions. Fast forward to today, and I am the proud parent of two fabulous felines, Tabby and Pepper. They're not just pets; they're family members who are a central part of my life. As a pet sitter, my mission is to provide a safe and comfortable space for your fur babies when you're away. Whether it's cuddle time, play sessions, or just ensuring their food bowl is filled to perfection, I go the extra mile to make sure your pets feel cherished and secure.

Thank you for taking such good care of Honey & Luna! Our cats love Yiping. They come out to greet her every visit and love to play with her. Often our cats are shy with visitors, but we think our cats may like Yiping more than us! She is very attentive and communicative and leaves us feeling confident that our cats are cared for and loved. It’s an easy decision whenever we need someone to check in on them!

Yiping was great with the cats! She sent pictures of them every time she went and made me feel at ease during our vacation. She also asked all the right questions during our intro meeting and made us feel comfortable with having her taking care of the cats right away. We will definitely book her services again!
