I’m someone who finds a lot of joy in quiet routines and gentle company, which is probably why I’ve always been drawn to cats. Over the past months I’ve looked after several cats, and each stay has reminded me how lovely it is to share a home with them — even if only for a short while. My previous sits have involved caring for cats with very different personalities, from shy and slow-to-warm to bold and demanding. I enjoy taking the time to understand what each cat needs to feel settled. I’ve often been told that homes are left tidier than before, and that the cats seem almost disappointed when their humans return — something I take as the highest compliment.😆 Although I haven’t administered medication or handled bathing, I’m very confident with everyday care, gentle routines, and keeping a calm, clean environment. I also communicate clearly and respectfully, because I know how much trust it takes to let someone into your home and care for your family member.
