Starting with my own pets at a young age, I've had years of experience taking care of animals. Not only do I know how to take care of animals well, but I love to do it! A big part of my 'why' for sitting is my love for animals and wanting to spend more time with animals! I work from home, so when sitting, your animal will be watched after all day! I can watch/walk at any time that fits their normal routine. I live in an apartment complex that has several rooftop dog parks that are available. They're never too busy and they're kept up very well. I also live by several parks and love going for walks, so that will be can be my main way of taking them out if that's what the animal prefers!

Yimmi was great. She kept us updated on Yoshi and even kept her a little longer knowing my husband and I would be late getting off work. Will definitely use her again.
Yimmi watched our 9 month old rescue puppy and was so wonderful with her. Our dog boarded for 8 days and had a great time. You can tell she was pampered and loved and exercised. I would highly recommend. I hope to use Yimmi again the next time we need a sitter!

Yimmi was great! She house sat and watched our 3 year old cat who can be a little finicky around new people. Yimmi sent lots of updates, and our cat warmed up to her quickly, and was calm and relaxed when we got home. In addition to taking great care of our pet, she was also a life saver when we realized we forgot the tux for the wedding we were attending — she helped us coordinate with a friend who was able to bring it to us. 10/10 would recommend and have already rebooked for our next trip.
Yimmi was kind and affectionate with our cat. She followed our instructions and also sent us pictures and videos that showed how much fun our sweet kitty was having while staying with her. We had a great experience and would absolutely book her again.

A typical day
I love walks and routinely go on walks to get outside, so it works perfectly into dog/pet sitting! I live right by the Capitol building, so my favorite route is to go down to the National Mall. I pass a big park on the way and often take my dog there to play fetch and burn some energy!
