Yifang is amazing! Our cats loved her!

My experience with Yifang was unfortunately disappointing, and I genuinely wasn’t expecting it to be. During the initial meet and greet a month prior to my trip, she showed interest and care in wanting to look after my cat. 2 days before I flew out, I invited her over so she could meet my cat and so I could show her all the routines and where everything was located. Upon entering my apartment, she immediately went right up to my cat, completely spooking her. I had informed Yifang beforehand that my cat is timid around strangers and that she should allow my cat to come to her first, so this caught me completely off guard. Since Yifang has a cat herself, I thought she might know better. It was during this visit that Yifang told me she would need to modify the booking times because she was going away for a weekend trip. Again, I was caught off guard, as this booking had already been confirmed almost a month earlier. I understand that plans change - we all have lives and things to do - however, I didn’t appreciate being given almost no notice about this change. I ended up having to modify the booking on the spot and remove an entire day, which meant my cat had no dinner that Saturday. For the first 2 nights of the booking, Yifang was 1.5 hours late with no notification. I had to message her to ask whether she was on her way, and while I understand that delays happen, I expected at least some communication. The next 2 nights she was on time, but then she was late again by 1 hour and 15 minutes, once again without notice. The only time she proactively notified me was on the second last night, when she was half an hour early. By that point, I was already unhappy with the lack of communication and transparency. Upon arriving back home, I noticed several things that were not done as instructed. I had personally shown her everything and also messaged her clear instructions and photos through the app. My cat’s litter box was a sandbox of a mess, the compost bag was not placed in the correct area, and the kitchen countertop was oddly stained and dirty. While my cat was still fed and accompanied, and Yifang technically completed the job, it was the overall lack of communication, transparency and care that would prevent me from recommending or booking her again in the future. The reason I initially chose her was because of the positive reviews on her profile, the fact that she has a cat herself, and because I genuinely found her to be a nice person. Unfortunately, my experience ended up being very different.

Yifang walked Pippin for me, she was great at communication and punctual with her time! Would book again!

Yifang was great with my little rat terrier! She was very prompt from the introductory mtg to the times she took my dog out to do her business to when she dropped off the keys afterward. And I could tell that my dog likes her because she was jumping all over Yifang when she met to give the keys back. Yifang also went the extra mile (literally) by taking my dog on walks up to 2 km long, which is about 1.5 miles further than any of my other Rovers ever did! In short, Yifang is fantastic and I won't hesitate to ask for her services again.

She is gentle, patient, and very friendly with the dog. The dog is clearly happy and feels comfortable around her.
