I usually just follow whatever routine the pet is used to and try to keep things consistent for them. I always make sure doors, gates, and anything important are properly closed and checked. When I’m in someone’s home, I respect the space and keep things tidy. I don’t move things around unless needed. I also check in on how the pet is doing day to day and send updates and photos so the owner knows everything is fine. Feel free to reach out anytime if you have any questions.

A typical day
depends on the pet’s routine, but I always make sure they are fed on time, get regular potty breaks.For dogs, I’ll take them on walks around the neighborhood, let them have potty breaks, and spend some time playing with them. For cats, I’ll handle feeding, litter box cleaning, and some gentle play or companionship so they feel comfortable.

Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of a Yorkshire Terrier for about 10 years, so I’m very familiar with long-term dog care and daily routines. After starting work, I also helped take care of my roommate’s cats for about a year, including a long-haired tabby, a golden chinchilla, and a Siamese cat. Through these experiences, I’ve learned how different pets can be in personality and needs. I’m comfortable with feeding, cleaning, basic care, and spending time with both active and more independent pets.
