I work a regular weekday schedule but have flexibility. For dogs, I can sometimes bring them to my pet-friendly office so they can calmly socialize with other dogs if they enjoy it. If not, they can stay at my apartment — I can come home midday for a potty break and walk, and I’m home before and after work. For cats, I handle morning and evening care and spend more time at home in the evenings and on weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, walks, litter, and any house rules, and I keep doors and windows securely closed so pets stay safely indoors. For dogs, I only walk them on-leash and avoid crowded or unsafe areas. I mainly provide care in my own home, where pets can explore safe areas of the apartment and relax in a calm, quiet environment. I don’t offer driving or pick-up/drop-off, and I can only consider very nearby homes that are within a short walking distance. I send regular photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel confident they’re well cared for while you’re away.

Information Yifan S. would like to know about your pet
Because I live in an apartment, I’m the best fit for small, relatively quiet pets. Please let me know if your dog/cat has separation anxiety, tends to bark at noises or neighbors, or has any history of chewing doors or furniture when left alone for a few hours. I’d also like to know their potty routine, whether they are crate trained, any medical needs or medications, and how they usually do with new environments, other animals, and new people.
A typical day
On a typical weekday, dogs start the day with a short potty walk (about 10 minutes) around my apartment building to stretch and sniff. If the day allows, I usually bring them to my pet-friendly office so they can hang out with me and get a midday potty break. In the evening, we’ll go out again — if the weather is nice, we’ll walk to a nearby park for some exploring; if it’s raining, we’ll keep it to a shorter potty walk around the building with plenty of sniff time. For cats, most of the day is calm and relaxed: they can nap, explore safe areas of the apartment, watch the world from the window, and get playtime or cuddles when they come over to ask for attention.

Pet care experience
I started pet sitting in May 2022 after moving to Seattle. Since then I’ve cared for small dogs (Shiba Inu, Maltese, Cockapoo) and many indoor cats (Devon Rex, British Shorthair, Ragdoll, Orange Tabby, etc.) for friends and coworkers. I’m best with apartment-friendly, well-mannered pets. I pay close attention to each animal’s personality, don’t force cuddles, and let shy pets warm up at their own pace as long as they’re safe. Before each stay, I confirm your pet’s routine and house rules so I can keep things consistent and low-stress while you’re away.

Reviews
Yifan has pet sat Twix several times, and we couldn’t recommend her more! She’s wonderful with him, follows all instructions perfectly, keeps her house in great shape and safe for pets, and communicates clearly every step of the way. Twix always seems happy and comfortable with her. She is truly awesome!
Cat Sitter Review – Yifan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Yifan took such loving care of Mylo while I was away. She was incredibly gentle, patient, and thoughtful, making sure he felt safe and at home from the very start. She gave him so much attention and affection, and it truly showed in how happy and relaxed he was. Knowing Mylo was with Yifan gave me complete peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the love she showed him, and I couldn’t have asked for a kinder or more trustworthy cat sitter. Thank you, Yifan, for treating Mylo like your own 🐱💖
Yifan dog-sat my 2-year-old, 12 lb Biewer Terrier twice for one week each time. She provided great care, made sure he had three potty breaks daily, and he always came back happy. I highly recommend her as a responsible and caring pet sitter.
Yifan took wonderful care of Millie for a week while I was away on business. It’s always hard to leave Millie behind, but Yifan’s responsible and loving approach made it so much easier. I returned home to a very happy pup! I highly recommend Yifan to anyone looking for a trustworthy caregiver.
