I’m a responsible, patient, and detail-oriented pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs. I’m a cat parent myself, and I’ve also fostered and cared for friends’ cats in my home for months at a time. Through that experience, I’ve cared for cats with many different personalities, including shy cats, very social and playful cats, nervous cats, and cats who may be defensive or easily overstimulated at first. I’m confident around cats and good at noticing their behavior, body language, appetite, litter box habits, stool condition, energy level, and overall comfort. I understand that trust takes time, so I never force interaction. I let cats approach at their own pace and use calm, patient care to help them feel safe and relaxed. I also enjoy using cat toys, especially wand toys, to gently attract their attention, encourage play, and build trust. I also have experience taking care of my parents’ dog, including feeding, walks, daily routines, playtime, and companionship. In addition, I’ve spent time playing with and walking my friends’ dogs, which helped me become comfortable with different dog personalities, energy levels, and walking styles. I understand that some dogs need active play and steady walks, while others need a slower, calmer approach. For house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking, I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep your pet’s routine consistent, and pay attention to their mood, comfort, and safety. I’ll send clear updates with photos so you know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

Safety and trust are very important to me, especially when I’m caring for someone’s pet or entering their home. Before each booking, I like to understand your pet’s routine, personality, health needs, house rules, and any special instructions. In a client’s home, I’ll respect your space, keep doors and windows secure, follow building or house rules, and never invite guests. I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, a safe environment, and calm attention based on their comfort level. For dog walking, I’ll keep dogs leashed, use your preferred harness or leash setup, avoid unsafe interactions, and follow your preferred walking route and rules. For cats, I’ll be careful with doors, hiding spots, litter box routines, and stress signals. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and cared for while giving you clear updates and photos.

Schedule
I work from home part-time and can arrange my working hours flexibly, so pet care fits well into my daily routine. I usually stay at home for most of the day, which allows me to provide consistent care, attention, and updates. For house sitting, I can follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, litter care, playtime, bedtime routines, and any special instructions. For drop-in visits and dog walking, I’m happy to discuss your preferred timing and do my best to match your pet’s regular schedule. I understand that every pet has different habits and needs, so I’m willing to work with your requirements and routines to help your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
