I’m a professional dancer trained in ballet, contemporary , and Chinese dance. I currently work with a contemporary dance company based in Vancouver, so I travel there occasionally. When I return to Toronto, I usually stay for 2 weeks to a month at a time. During those rest periods, my schedule is very flexible, and I’m available to care for dogs and cats with love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I care for pets in their own homes, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and provide: feeding (including dry food, wet food, raw meals, freeze-dried, treats, and supplements), giving fresh water, litter box or waste cleanup, cleaning, and playtime if the pet needs it. I also send regular updates with photos and videos to keep owners reassured. For dog walks, I bring my own waste bags and a portable water bottle to make sure each walk is clean, safe, and enjoyable.
Information Yi-Chen T. would like to know about your pet
I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know your pet’s name, age, personality, any special needs, and anything I should pay attention to before your visit!
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I adjust the activities to fit their needs—whether it’s gentle playtime, slow walks, talk to them, or just keeping them company with love and care.

Pet care experience
I offer English and Mandarin! I have hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, and rabbits through personal and volunteer work. I previously owned a senior Pomeranian, so I’m familiar with the needs of older dogs. Currently, I’ve been caring for my adopted cat for 4 years. I’m friendly and gentle with all animals, and my friends trust me to take great care of their pets. I naturally build strong bonds with the animals I meet. My cat eats a raw diet, and I managed her past urinary issues through proper nutrition. I’ve also trained her to sit and fetch, and I previously trained my dog in basic commands. I’m confident and flexible with different feeding styles, medical needs, and training routines.
Reviews

Yi-Chen handled my dog amazingly well, with so much patience and care. She was punctual and went above and beyond just walking him. I would absolutely recommend her!

Yi-Chen was great! She was always on time, sent detailed reports and asked questions to make sure my cat is taking care of in the best possible way. She made us both feel comfortable and my cat was relaxed and happy during the visits. Yi-Chen gave me peace of mind and I will definitely be using her drop-in visiting services in the future.

Excellent communication and service

Yi-Chen is very sensitive and caring to Nadia (cat) and very attentive to Nadia's needs.... and my needs too! I inherited my parents cat and I'm allergic to fur so Yi-Chen gave Nadia a good brushing to get the loose fur off.
