I’ve known Yesenia for over six years, and I can confidently say she is one of the most caring, responsible, and trustworthy people I know when it comes to pets. She has always been an incredibly devoted pet mom, and she has given her dogs so much love, attention, and the very best care. Although she sadly lost one of her beloved dogs, she continues to provide that same love and dedication to her current pup, Canelo. Yesenia is reliable, respectful, and treats both pets and people with the utmost care and dignity. She truly believes that her fur family should be included in life’s adventures, and she goes above and beyond to make sure Canelo is happy, socialized, and included. I’ve gone to the movies with Yesenia and seen her famous Canelo right by her side. We’ve also gone on hikes, visited restaurants, and attended numerous community events and gatherings, and she has always made sure her pup was part of the experience. Her love for animals is genuine, and she treats her pets as part of the family. Yesenia is someone that friends and family completely trust to care for their pets, and I would have no hesitation leaving my own pets in her care. She is dependable, compassionate, patient, and genuinely loves animals. She would absolutely be an incredible asset to the Rover team, and I wholeheartedly recommend her for this position. Any pet and pet parent would be lucky to have Yesenia caring for their furry family member!

Yesenia is absolutely wonderful! She has cared for our Golden Retriever many times, including overnight stays and trips lasting 7+ days, and we trust her completely. Yesenia always plays fun catch and fetch games, uses unique dog toys, and engages in activities to keep her busy and entertained. We trust her fully, with her own access to our home she has always been incredibly respectful, and dependable. Most importantly, she genuinely loves our girl and treats her like her own. Our pup comes home happy, loved, and completely worn out from all the fun! Having someone we trust this much with both our dog and our home is priceless. We would recommend Yesenia to anyone without hesitation—she’s the kind of pet sitter you hope to find and then never want to let go!

We cannot recommend Yesenia highly enough! She treats our Golden Retriever like she is her own—and based on how excited she gets when she sees her, we’re pretty sure she considers Yesenia her second family (and possibly her favorite one!). Yesenia is incredibly responsible, trustworthy, and thoughtful. We trust her completely with our dog and our home—she even has her own door code so she can come and help whenever needed. She has always been exceptionally respectful of our home, and we have never had a single concern about leaving everything in her care. She also goes far beyond simply “watching” our dog. Yesenia knows all the best games, toys, and activities to keep her stimulated, entertained, and engaged. She always comes home incredibly happy and completely exhausted from playing—which, as any Golden Retriever owner knows, is no small accomplishment! Yesenia has cared for her overnight and for extended stays of five or more days, and we have always felt completely at ease knowing she is with her. It is such a gift to have someone we trust wholeheartedly and, even more importantly, someone our dog genuinely loves spending time with. We recommend Yesenia 100%, without hesitation and with complete confidence. Any pet (and pet parent!) would be incredibly lucky to have her!

I have known Yesenia for the past three years, she is a loving and caring person. When you meet her you can tell she loves dogs, she radiates that light, especially hers, Canelo. She is always on an adventure with him. Canelo is always very well taken care of and always happy, so willing to make others around him happy too, its so contagious. We all been on walks together and socials and can truly say he is a happy boy with her. From the time knowing Yesenia she continues to impress me with her generous and caring heart for others especially those she cares and loves. I 100% recommend her as someone who would go above and beyond for your pet!!!

Yesenia has cared for my mixed large size dog, Skylar several times over the past few years! I say Yesenia is the dog whisperer because all dogs love her. My pup is human and dog selective but loves Yesenia! Yesenia is super communicative, responsible and truly loves dogs. I couldn't recommend her more!
