I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and comfortable as possible. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding schedules, portion sizes, litter box cleaning, and any specific preferences the cat may have. I make sure their environment stays clean, calm, and safe. Since I work from home, I’m able to check on them frequently throughout the day, give them playtime and attention, and also respect their space if they prefer a quieter presence. Some cats enjoy interactive play and company, while others take time to warm up—I’m very patient and let them approach me at their own pace. If I’m caring for a cat in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care, keeping everything tidy and making sure their cat feels secure in their familiar surroundings. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away. My goal is always for cats to feel relaxed and well cared for, and for owners to feel confident that their pet is in safe, attentive hands.
