Availability
I work part-time for events, and on rare occasions, about once every 2–3 months I may travel for work. During those times, my status will be marked as "out of town." My schedule is typically very flexible, with plenty of availability throughout the week and weekends to care for animals.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 2 story house with my dog and leopard gecko, and there’s almost always someone home for supervision and companionship. We have a large fenced yard for outdoor activities, a baby gate for indoor safety, and I can crate if needed for comfort or routine. Your pet’s safety, trust, and happiness are always my top priorities.

***Meet & Greet*** If your pet has special needs like medication, anxiety triggers, or mobility concerns, I highly recommend we arrange one first so I can fully understand how to provide the best care. And if your pet doesn’t require any special attention, the meet up isn’t essential, we can shorten a step ahead 😌☕️ ***House Sitting (in your home)*** Please make sure there’s enough pet food and supplies set aside before my stay! This will help things run smoothly and gives you peace of mind while you’re away 🏝️

I tend to build cute memories with animals on a personal level. Learning by their unique traits and how they usually interact with me, I let them take on the lead. I make sure they’re given enough play time each visits. Whether that means chasing toys, gentle brushing, or a cozy couch time together, I provide lots of fun and memories. While I keep things light and fun, I turn those requested tasks like walks and trainings into playful missions to keep their mood up. Over time, even the shy or hesitant ones tend to warm up to me naturally and that’s one of my favorite parts of the job!

Pet care experience
I have a deep bond with animals and always strive to make them feel comfortable and safe around me by quickly adapting to their unique traits. My love for pets has grown over many years: beginning with caring for my own family’s dogs and cats at a young age to caring for friends and others. Most of my experience is with dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and birds. Personally, I have a soft spot for German Shepherds and Siamese cats. I do enjoy working with many breeds and species of all kinds though Currently, I have a leopard gecko, and a dog living with me. My Pixie is 3 years old, a female fancy gecko. And my Zay is a female husky mix, she’s turning 8 this year :3 I spend most days filled with zoomies, feeding time, and lots of cuddles

I wish I didn’t have to write this but I think it’s important for other pet parents to note. We hired Yena for house sitting and confirmed with her during her first meet and greet, as well as a second meet and greet, that she would be able to stay over with our 2 pet’s at our house every night. We paid house sitting cost, with holiday up charge and for both pets. On the 3rd night of 7 nights, she left the pets alone over night. She never let us know, before or after the fact, that she had left. Only when we directly confronted her, she confirmed she had left for the night and she justified it by mentioning that “some pet parents are ok if I don’t stay the night”. After we confirmed with her 3 times that she would be staying over, this was unacceptable. We even asked if it was a medical or family emergency to which she didn’t have an answer. This is a breach of contract and was in addition to multiple instances of Yena failing to follow clear instructions (ex. Our dog being left outside without shade in the middle of the day or our cat being accidentally let out into the back when we specifically mentioned to not allow him to be out. ) Due to these problems, we had to unravel this mess and find an emergency pet sitter for the rest of the sitting. We are pursuing this with rover and have provided all the evidence. Moreover, my dog had never spent a night by himself alone in the house in his 6 years of life until that night. This also caused us a lot of stress on a trip that was very important.

Yena watched my pup for three nights and was so great with them!! She was able to come over for a meet and greet before hand which I really appreciated. She sent pics and updates everyday and treated my home like her own!

Yena was amazing! She is so nice and my animals loved her! I’m so happy I chose her. She kept me up to date while I was out, which I appreciate dearly. Would choose her again and again and again 🙌🏼😊

Yena did a wonderful job of taking care of my 2 babies. My 2 doggos like her very much. She is very responsive and sends me updates of what’s going on with them. Thank you Yena for taking care of my Angel and Luna.
