I work from home five days a week giving me capacity to care for pets full-time. My days start at 9am and finish at 5.30pm. This gives me plenty of time free in the mornings to go for walks, and also in the evenings, and at lunchtime too. On weekends I am very flexible and can dedicate the entirety of it to caring for pets. I live with my partner who is also a pet-lover and was brought up with cats and a miniature dashchund.

My home has a fully secure back garden with plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs without fear of them escaping. I am also close by to parks for frequent walks. When pet sitting outside of my home, I would make sure to ask all necessary questions including whether the animals can go outside, if the garden is fenced off, if the pet can be let off the lead, what triggers any defensive behaviours from them, and also what they particularly enjoy. I would also ask if there’s anything else I need to be aware of e.g. allergies, parts of the house they’re not permitted, medication requirements etc.

As I have a garden and a park nearby I can play with pooches until they are nicely stimulated and they have outdoor space to sniff around and laze in the sun. My work is also flexible meaning I can give pets frequent attention.

Max had another lovely stay with Yasmin and Peter for a long weekend this time. Even though it had been a year since his last stay the minute he entered their house he was happy and wagging his tail. Yasmin is brilliant with him and kept us updated with pictures and messages. She’d even remember he is on a restricted diet and got some carrots in for him knowing he’s allowed them. Yasmin is definitely someone you can trust your beloved pet with, thank you so much.
Monty had a lovely time with Yasmin and Peter during our 10 day holiday. Yasmin was very accommodating to Monty’s fussy diet 😂 She made sure to give us lots of updates showing Monty was having a great holiday himself :)
