When caring for dogs and cats I try to prioritize creating a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment. In my home I have comfortable beddings around the house and access to toys. I ensure that there is a routine and have regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions to keep my own dog happy. We take safety measures and ensure that our house is safe and pet proofed so they cannot access anything that may be harmful to them. I keep a close eye on my own dog, making sure he gets a lot of socialization so he doesn’t get lonely and I make sure he is healthy, watching out for any health concerns. In other people’s home I would respect their own pets routine, their home security, cleanliness, provide regular updates to clients and have emergency readiness.

Please let me know what your pets usual routine is, what are their likes and dislikes, any pet triggers that they will react to in general and when walking them, any medications or health concerns, how do you reward good behavior and how do you deal with negative behavior and if there is any other information you would like to tell me I would be grateful to know!
A typical day
Depending on the pet and their owner I would love to go on long walks with dogs, go to the dog park or bigger parks to run around and play at. On other days we could do mental stimulation dog activities such as trying new walking routes, playing with puzzles and interactive toys, munching on frozen treats on hot summer days or even scatter feeding.

I’ve taken care of dogs for 5 years, my own and other friends and family members. My dog and I go on walks twice a day and we love going on adventures to big parks, the beach and hiking!
