Local walker you can count on
I have cared for dogs my entire life from energetic puppies to senior companions. I have owned both rescue and non rescue dogs and understand the different needs each one can have. I trained my Spanish Water Dog from a puppy and took them to puppy classes so I am confident with young dogs who are still learning the basics. I have also welcomed a rescue dog with some unique behavioural quirks into my home which taught me patience calm handling and how to help a dog feel safe while they adjust to a new environment. Because of this I am very comfortable supporting dogs with big personalities or those who need a little extra understanding. I regularly look after friends and family dogs including a very strong excitable Labrador who gets extremely excited when seeing other dogs so I am used to managing enthusiastic walkers and keeping them under control. I have also owned a cat and one of my current dogs is an amazing 17 years old so I am experienced with senior pets who need a gentler pace as well as younger dogs who need more stimulation and structure. Overall I am confident calm and adaptable and I genuinely love getting to know each dogs individual personality.

Yasmin has looked after our two Spanish Waterdogs on short term and long term occasions. She follows instructions precisely and can be trusted to carry out specific medication regimes. Her love of animals is immediately apparent and our dogs ( and those of my friends and neighbours) have a strong affinity to her. She is caring, kind, and patient. One if our dohs is particularly nervous with other dogs and she is able to walk him with enthusiasm and without being nervous which is a huge advantage. We have no hesitation in recommending Yasmin as a dog sitter ( hopefully she still has time to fit our bookings in :))

I am currently working flexible hours so I have plenty of time to look after your pets. I am available for boarding and walks from Friday to Sunday.
