I grew up with all kinds of family pets- from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. I love animals of all kinds and believe each individual is different. I have always been a huge dog lover and sadly had to recently say goodbye to my best friend Bruno. Definitely eager to get to spend time with doggos again since I am not ready to adopt again quite yet.

I am happy to welcome pets (cat friendly) into my home, or travel to client’s homes for pet care. I have reliable access to transportation (have my own car). My home consists of two stories and my cats could be separated on a separate floor if needed. I have an unfenced yard but live in a very walkable, wooded neighborhood with minimal traffic, ideal for walking. I am also happy to transport dogs to the dog park Wriggley Park, or another dog park if you’d like. I am happy to accommodate specific feeding/medication schedules, brushing, or any other special requests you may have!

Yasmin was incredibly helpful when I needed a last-minute pet sitter! She even fit my dog & me in for a meet-and-greet visit on short notice. She was patient with my young, excited dog when introducing him to her cats and I could tell she was comfortable & trustworthy to handle my large dog on walks. Yasmin was so great! She helped me out when I had to go out of town last minute for a family emergency. She sent detailed updates everyday and was very responsive and communicative.
I'm a PhD candidate at a pretty large university, so I'm always busy and working very odd hours. I have a 3-year-old husky/rotwieller mix called Pepper, who weighs about 60 pounds. Yasmin comes over about 3 times a week to walk Pepper, and every time Pepper sees Yasmin, she goes absolutely crazy with excitement. I can see how excited Pepper is on my Ring camera system, and how great Yasmin treats her. Not only will Yasmin walk her, but she goes the extra mile by playing and stimulating Pepper with treats and lessons. Whenever I have to go to a conference or have had a family emergency, Yasmin was always there to help take care of Pepper, walk her, and even board her a couple of times. Yasmin would take the time to let me know how Pepper is doing, text me pictures, and FaceTime me so she could give me a report on Pepper and let me talk to her. Yasmin has saved me time and time again, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for someone to walk, board, play with, and care for their dogs.

Schedule
I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, and just earned my PhD in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences. Currently perusing remote scientific consulting, so I am currently home a lot with a very flexible schedule.
