I prefer to know about a dogs eating habits ahead of time. This allows me to plan ways to get picky eaters to eat. Sometimes putting food in toys gets them to eat. Otherwise, hand feeding works best. Many dogs get timid during the first day so they won’t eat how they usually would. Therefore, knowing what to typically expect helps me know if they are eating well.

I start the day off with a walk. Usually on hot days, I’ll let the dogs play in the doggy pool to cool off. I use ice treats to cool them off as well. However, I put them into kongs to stimulate their brains. Also, I take them over to my Aunts house (right next door) to run around in her fenced in yard. We play with the sprinklers or chasing balls.
