She is amazing witj my pet . This is the first time I left my pet cat with her. Usually, he is very picky in terms of choosing his human. But she was very patient with him. I would love to rebook her again

Yan was responsive and sent photo updates. Unfortunately, Yan wasn’t the right fit for Callie and Yan requested to end the booking after 24 hours - when Callie was just starting to adjust to her new environment. Callie is used to sleeping in our bed every night and she was not allowed in the bedroom with Yan and her husband. This caused Callie to meow at night, which Yan responded promptly by sleeping in the living room with her. Callie then stopped meowing and slept next to Yan. We totally understand that this prevented Yan from having a good night sleep. We did share in our profile that Callie sleeps with us every night and offered solutions. We recommended to Yan to administer additional gabapentin to Callie on the first night (and moving forward) to help with her anxiety and stress. Yan only administered one dose of medication instead of two on the first night, against our recommendation. Callie was scared of Yan, she was meowing (she’s quite vocal in general) and hissing but had no issues licking the medication mixed with a treat on a spoon. Callie has stayed with multiple Rover sitters prior and has never hissed or had issues adjusting to her new environment. The whole situation caused a ton of stress for us while on vacation since we had to contact Rover Support (requested by Yan) to help us find a last minute sitter. Rover Support was extremely helpful and Yan was responsive during the process, ensuring the transfer of care for Callie to another sitter was smooth. We’re thankful for the care Yan provided to Callie for the two nights. We love Callie so much and were extremely distraught, stressed and worried about her. We even debated canceling our vacation and flying home to pick her up as soon as possible. We’re extremely appreciative of Maria, our new sitter that drove to pick up Callie and take over care for us last minute. Callie has been doing fantastic with the new sitter, they have told us she has been such a good girl and slept at the bottom of their bed throughout the entire night.

Yan and her husband took such great care of our cat — I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter.

Yan took care of my dog, Daisy, for a good 10 days. She sent videos everyday, and was very responsive to all the questions I had. She is very thorough, which helped keep my mind at ease knowing Daisy was in great hands. They went on walks together, played in the yard, and snuggled. Daisy came home happy like she also went on vacation haha 😆 💕. Thank you for pampering Daisy and treating her like family. I recommend Yan’s services 100%

Yan was amazing with our cat, Daya. We got an abundance of photos throughout the week and could see how happy and comfortable Daya was! She also gave us Polaroids of Daya to go home with ♥️ I would definitely recommend Yan and will be booking her again!

Yan was great with our fur babies. She was very responsive and provided tons of pictures and kept up with us all day. She was loving and affectionate towards our cats, and very kind overall. She has a good amount of space for the cats to roam, and we can’t wait to rebook with her!

Schedule
As I am a free, I have ample free time in my daily and weekly routine. My husband works remotely, so there's always someone at home. This allows us to provide consistent companionship and care for pets throughout the day. Our flexible schedule enables us to engage with your furry friends frequently, ensuring they receive the attention and love they deserve.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
In my home and my clients' homes, I prioritize safety and trust through a well-structured environment tailored for pets. I ensure that all pet areas are pet-proofed, removing any hazardous items and securing potentially dangerous substances out of reach. When caring for pets, I create a calming atmosphere to help them adjust quickly to their surroundings. I maintain a clean and organized space, ensuring that their living area, food, and litter boxes are always tidy and sanitized. To build trust, I spend quality time getting to know each pet, understanding their unique personalities, preferences, and routines. This personalized approach helps pets feel secure and comfortable while in my care. Additionally, I keep pet owners updated with regular check-ins, sharing photos and videos of their furry friends to ease any worries. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities, ensuring they feel loved and at home, whether in my space or yours.

A typical day
A typical day with your dog starts bright and early, around 7 AM. Before we head out, I’ll give your dog a small portion of food—just enough to settle their stomach without causing discomfort. After this light meal, we’ll go outside for a refreshing walk, giving your dog the chance to relieve itself and explore the neighborhood. Mid-morning, we’ll enjoy some playtime, whether it’s tug-of-war, fetch, or practicing fun tricks. In the afternoon, after a bit of rest, we might visit a dog park for some socializing and running around. Evenings are for winding down with a cozy dinner and cuddle time to help your dog relax before bed. If you’d prefer, I’m more than happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
