For dogs, I’d also like to know their walking habits, leash behavior, and how they usually respond to other animals or people. The more I know, the better I can make them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away!
A typical day
That depends on your pet’s personality! For cats, I’m happy to offer playtime with toys, brushing if they enjoy it, or simply being nearby to provide companionship. For dogs, I can go for short walks, play in the yard (if available), or just spend time with them calmly. I always pay attention to the pet’s comfort level — I never push for interaction if they seem shy or need space. The goal is always to help your pet feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

I’ve been living with my cat, Shiny, since 2017, when I adopted her who needs an adult-only environment. These special cats typically have heightened sensitivity to noise or touch and thrive in calm, adult-only environments. I’ve loved every moment of building trust and understanding with her. I’m not just a cat person. Growing up, I helped care for large dogs, including a Labrador Retriever and a German Shepherd. I’m familiar with both cats and dogs, and I try to respect their individual temperaments and routines.

Yan did a great job taking care of my cats while I was away. My one cat is shy so she didn’t get to meet her but she played with my other cat, gave her treats, and showed her some love. The litterbox was kept clean as well. She also sent me plenty of cute photos to update me with each visit! I would highly recommend Yan for looking after your felines!
Yan did a great job with my two cats! One of my cats is really particular about things and she adjusted great to his needs. So so happy with her! I could travel with the peace of mind that my babies were well taken care of! Highly recommend, especially for owners with more particular cats!
Yan took great care of Aurora, and Aurora had a great time with her. We hope to book Yan again in the future!!
