Pet care experience

Experienced Agility Handler

I’ve been caring for dogs for over 11 years, starting with my first Siberian Husky, who taught me everything about patience, consistency, and unconditional love. For the past 8 years, I’ve been training and competing in dog agility, and I currently share my life with three Border Collies who are active competitors, plus my beloved retired Husky. I understand dogs of all ages, breeds, and energy levels — from high-drive working dogs to seniors needing a slower pace. My experience in agility means I’m skilled at reading canine body language, providing mental stimulation, and keeping dogs both safe and happy. Whether your pup needs a structured walk, playtime, or just some extra love while you’re away, I’ll treat them like my own.

Yan is a really responsible and caring sitter! Ollie had a great time there and was clearly well-looked after. Highly recommend!

Yan is an amazing dog sitter! My poodle Miketea enjoyed a good time with her. She is professional. She knows how to communicate with dogs. I got many photos and videos about Milketea during the sitting session. I will definitely choose her again, and recommend her to my friends.

Schedule

Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekdays, as I’m available during daytime hours while most people are at work. I structure my day to give pets plenty of attention, playtime, walks, and rest, making sure their routine is consistent and comfortable. Weekends are flexible as well, so I can accommodate extra visits or longer stays when needed.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets in my home or at your home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine. During walks, all dogs are kept on leash and under close supervision. I ensure that no food or harmful items are accessible, and I maintain controlled environments so pets can explore, play, and relax safely. Each pet’s individual needs are respected, whether it’s exercise, attention, or quiet time, so they feel secure and happy.

Pets

A typical day

Our dogs receive comprehensive stimulation, with engaging daily training games designed to promote both physical fitness and mental development. We offer some training to tire your dogs out!

My preference is working with high-energy, medium-sized breeds, as they thrive on both physical activity and mental stimulation. I design engaging routines and training games that help channel their energy in positive ways. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs so I can tailor the experience to them.
