Pet care experience

Lifelong Dog Lover | WFH

I've been caring for dogs since I was 6 years old. One of my beloved dogs was part of my family for 20 wonderful years, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of a dog's life—from energetic puppyhood to senior care. I understand that every dog has a unique personality and routine, and I always take the time to help them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Since I work from home most of the time, your dog will receive plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I only host one family's pets at a time, so your dog will enjoy a calm, clean, and low-stress environment with personalized care. I'm happy to follow your pet's feeding schedule, walking routine, medication instructions, and any special requests. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your dog is in caring hands.

5 Stars! Best sitter for our crazy combo! Finding someone who can handle an 88lb Bernese Mountain Dog (Bruno) AND an 11lb Miniature Dachshund (Daisy) at the same time is usually a nightmare, but Yan was amazing! What impressed us most was how attentive she was to their safety with such a big size gap. She made sure Daisy never felt overwhelmed or stepped on, while still giving Bruno all the space he needed. She took Bruno for his long walks and let Daisy just snuggle up on the couch. Their feeding routines and food are super different, but Yan kept everything strictly organized. The photo and video updates were constant and hilarious—Bruno happy outside and Daisy literally asleep on Yan’s lap lol. Both dogs came back super relaxed, well-exercised, and happy. We’ll 100% be booking with Yan again!

Our dog Cooper is a 4-year-old, 75-pound Lab with endless energy, so we always look for sitters who are genuinely comfortable with big dogs. Yan clearly has a lot of experience with larger dogs and handled Cooper with no problem at all. He especially loved all the outdoor time with her. Yan took him on long walks around Harrison and along the river, and every day we'd get photos of him out exploring and having the best time. By the evening, our normally unstoppable Lab was completely worn out and sleeping like a baby 😂 Cooper came home happy, relaxed, and very well exercised. We'd absolutely leave him with Yan again, especially knowing how comfortable she is with bigger, active dogs!

Yan is probably the most organized sitter we've ever used. Before Mochi's stay, she invited us over for a meet and greet so he could get comfortable with her and her home first. After we booked, she sent us a Google Doc to fill out with Mochi's feeding schedule, personality, medical information, allergies, walking habits, and other little details. Mochi has a sensitive stomach and gets VERY excited about squirrels on walks, so I appreciated how seriously she took everything we told her. During his stay, Yan followed his normal routine and kept us updated with photos and videos. I was honestly impressed that she remembered even the small things we had mentioned. It made the whole experience feel very organized and easy. We felt like Yan really knew Mochi before we even left him with her, and we'd definitely book with her again!

Bailey is my 3-year-old, 48-pound Border Collie and goes to daycare with Yan four days a week. With my work schedule, I always felt guilty leaving such a high-energy dog home alone all day, so finding Yan has been a huge help. Bailey gets plenty of walks, outdoor time, and playtime during the day, and I love getting little photo and video updates while I'm at work. Usually I'll see her happily exploring outside, followed a few hours later by a picture of her completely passed out 😂 Now she gets excited as soon as she realizes we're heading to Yan's and happily walks inside without even looking back at me! I pick up a very happy and tired Border Collie at the end of the day. Bailey clearly loves her daycare days with Yan, and that makes my workdays so much easier too.

Our cat Mimi is 12 years old and had surgery not too long ago, so leaving her while we travel is always something we worry about. She is a sweet girl, but she usually takes a long time to trust someone new. During previous stays away from home, she would spend the first few days hiding in closets or corners and sometimes barely eat. So what happened at Yan's house completely surprised us. On the very first day we dropped Mimi off, she was already exploring the room and even jumped onto Yan's bed to hang out with her! We had honestly never seen her become comfortable with someone new that quickly. As the days went by, Yan would send us little updates about their life together. Mibao apparently became Yan's work-from-home buddy, sitting with her while she worked late, following her around the house, and sleeping near her at night. The photos made us laugh because she looked so completely at home—as if she had decided Yan's place was her second home. For a senior cat who normally needs days to adjust, seeing her so relaxed from the very beginning meant everything to us. We came home to a happy, comfortable Mimi, and next time we go on vacation, we already know who we want her to stay with. Thank you, Yan, for making our girl feel so at home!
