Yan was wonderful with Kiki! She was super responsive and sent constant updates with photos and videos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away.

Yan was a wonderful host! She sent daily photos of her walks with our fur son and was very communicative and kept us updated throughout his stay. We highly recommend Yan if you need a dog sitter in Seattle!

Yan was incredible! Super sweet, responsive, flexible. She provided more updates and walked Poppy more often than requested and gave our pup tons of extra tlc during the forth of July fireworks. Would absolutely recommend!!

Thank you for the prompt updates and taking care of my dog! My dog likes spending time with Yan.

Jake had a yet another great visit with Yan. Jake looked happy and well taken cared for in the daily photos. Thank you!!

Yan takes amazing care of my dog when I’m away. He clearly loves her and is very comfortable at her place. I can relax and have fun more easily while traveling because I know he’s being well cared for back in Seattle!

Schedule
I have plenty of free time to care for dogs.My daughter is 10 years old and quite independent, which allows me to focus my time and energy on giving dogs the attention, exercise, and love they need throughout the day.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I provide a safe, loving, and calm home environment with lots of personal attention. I only care for one dog (or most two) at a time. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I live very close to Green Lake, so daily walks and outdoor time are easy and enjoyable.
A typical day
When I take care of pets, I always make sure they feel happy, safe, and loved. Here are some of the fun activities I usually do with them: • Walks & Outdoor Time: I take dogs on daily walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks, especially Green Lake, which is just a short distance from my home. It’s a great place for them to enjoy nature, explore, and get some good exercise. • Playtime: Whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or just chasing a ball around the yard or house, I make sure the pets get plenty of playtime tailored to their energy level and personality. • Cuddles & Relaxing Time: For pets who love affection, we enjoy lots of snuggle time—on the couch, on the bed, or wherever they’re most comfortable. • Training & Mental Stimulation: I love engaging pets with simple training games or puzzle toys that challenge their minds and keep them busy. • Socialization (if appropriate): If the pet enjoys being around other dogs and the owner is okay with it, I sometimes arrange calm, friendly meet-ups with other dogs I care for. Most importantly, I always follow the pet owner’s instructions and routines to make sure the pet feels at home and well cared for.

- Before watching any pet, I like to learn as much as I can to provide the best care possible. Some important things I always ask about include: • Daily Routine: Feeding schedule, walk times, bathroom habits, and sleeping preferences. • Health Needs: Any medications, allergies, past injuries, or special care instructions. • Behavior & Personality: Are they shy or social? Do they get along with other pets or children? What makes them anxious or happy? • Training & Commands: What words or cues they understand (e.g., “sit,” “stay,” “leave it”). • Emergency Info: Vet contact, emergency plan, and any must-know safety issues (like if they are escape artists or afraid of fireworks). Knowing these details helps me give each pet a smooth, loving, and safe experience—just like they’re at home.
