Dog lover with 9 years of pet care experience. I have previously worked at PetSmart PetHotel as a Night Care Specialist caring for up to 80 pets ensuring they received the proper care throughout the night. I analyzed and regularly monitored for signs of stress, behavioural and health issues to ensure the safety of each pet (the cuddles were a bonus!)

Yamila provided great care for my chihuahua for two weeks. I had to find someone last minute and was glad to have found her. Yamila provided updates and pictures during the time I was away and I knew my dog was in good hands.
Yamila was so great and helpful providing last minute boarding for my pup! He was so excited to stay with her and they had lots of fun! Yamila was super communicative and kept me updated with pictures during my dogs stay, highly recommend!
I cannot recommend Yamila enough when it comes to pet care. She is one of the most caring, patient, and loving animal lovers I know. Animals naturally gravitate toward her because of her gentle and calm nature, and she treats every pet as if they were her own. Yamila has years of hands-on experience caring for dogs at every stage of life. She has cared for her own family dog from puppyhood into his senior years, ensuring he receives everything he needs — from daily walks and medications to endless love, comfort, and cuddles. More recently, she has also played a huge role in raising and caring for her partner’s puppy, helping with walks, vet visits, training, and everyday care. In addition to her personal experience, Yamila has worked in both an animal shelter and an overnight doggy daycare setting, giving her experience with dogs of different breeds, temperaments, and needs. She is responsible, attentive, trustworthy, and incredibly compassionate. Yamila is the kind of person you can feel completely confident leaving your pets with. She is kind, well-educated, polite, dependable, and truly passionate about animals. If I ever needed someone to care for my pets, she would be my first choice every single time.
I had left my 2 year old dog with Yamila when I had gone on a month long holiday and she kept me updated every day atleast 3-4 times. When I got back, my dog wanted to stay back which tells you how well he was taken care of. Would highly recommend Yamila for anyone looking to walk/dog sit their dog.

Schedule
I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule and work from home. If you are looking at boarding for more than 7 days - There are days where I will need to be out of the home for up to 4-5 hours

I treat every fur baby as if they are my own with love and attention. I am right by the Belt Line which is perfect for walks and outdoor time! I love being outdoors and exploring my neighbourhood, giving them tons of new opportunities to explore their world around them. I keep in regular contact and give updates multiple times throughout the day!
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs both physically and mentally. We will play a lot of games, explore the Belt Line path and visit all of the great parks near my neighbourhood
