I always care for your pet as requested. Whether or not your pup is crate trained doesn’t matter, I’ve cared for both. If your dog needs medication, walks at certain times, a health specific diet, has allergies, can’t be around certain animals/noises/environments- I will go out of my way to make sure your pets needs are met. I will always treat your pet as my own.

I would say that it’s incredibly important to know all significant information regarding your dogs health or behavior. Any special needs that your dog has I am happy to accommodate. If your dog is 35lbs or more (or if the combined weight of your dogs is 35lbs or more) and PULLS while on leash please understand that I will not walk them unless they have appropriate no-pull harnesses and leashes. Please let me know if your dog pulls and what kind harness/leash you have for them. The safety of your pet(s) and myself is a top priority for me; and making sure that I can safely handle them is very important.

I love to take my dog or any dog I’m watching out to some of the many beautiful hiking trails we have here in the Bay Area! There are also a number of dog friendly parks that are perfect to get the zoomies out. We live in such a beautiful place and I love to take advantage of that by enjoying it :)

I’ve raised five dogs of my own from puppyhood; as well as watched the dogs of my friends and family since I was young. I’ve had everything from mixed breeds, to French bulldogs, pugs, and even a pit bull! I have experience with oral medication administration and elderly dog care. My current dog was in my care before he could be weened, so I know plenty about little puppies! I believe in keeping my dogs as active as their health permits, so walks are a crucial part of the day for me. (If they can, of course. I’ve also had a senior dog with arthritis I’ve accommodated.) I have a knowledge of dog psychology and feel that it’s important to recognize dog behavior correctly.
