Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this sitter based on my experience. During the stay, I received messages stating that Cora was "very energetic and CRAZY," that she was not obedient, and that the sitter could no longer handle her. I was also asked whether I had someone who could come pick her up. Since I was traveling and had no one available to retrieve my dog, this immediately became a very stressful situation. Because I believed the booking was at risk of ending early, I contacted Rover and began discussing alternative care arrangements for my dog. Approximately four hours later, I received another message stating that Cora and the cats were getting along well and that she could stay until I returned home. I understand that dogs may need time to adjust to a new environment and that challenges can arise during boarding. My concern is not that there were challenges, but that the stay appeared to go from "I can't handle her" and a request for pickup to "she can stay until you return home" within only a few hours. I appreciate that the sitter ultimately completed the booking and continued caring for Cora. However, the initial messages created significant stress and uncertainty while I was traveling, and I had already begun working with Rover to find alternative care. As a pet owner, reliability and confidence that a booking will be completed are extremely important. Unfortunately, this experience left me uncomfortable enough that I would not book with this sitter again.

Xiuli was an absolute lifesaver! She came through for me in a pinch and did an amazing job caring for my cats. From the very beginning, she was dependable, responsive, and incredibly kind. It was clear that she genuinely loves animals and treated my cats with the same care and attention she would give her own. She kept me updated, gave me complete peace of mind while I was away, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Coming back to well-cared-for cats meant the world to me. I highly recommend Xiuli to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable cat sitter. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again! 🐾❤️
I’m incredibly grateful for the care and kindness shown during a family funeral. I had to leave suddenly and reached out on very short notice, and she kindly agreed to help right away. Even when my schedule changed and I had to ask if she could watch my dog a few days later instead, she was so flexible and understanding. It truly meant a lot to me. She treated my dog with so much love and affection. It was clear how much she genuinely cared, and my dog was very happy staying with her. I also really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. She loved my dog so much that she offered to keep him a few extra days, and that ended up helping me a lot. It gave me some extra time and space, and I am very thankful for her thoughtfulness and generosity. I highly recommend her!!!
