The Best Holiday For Your Furry Friends🐶 👣
Hi, you can call me Sophia 😊 Me and my boyfriend (Mike) are passionate pet lovers. Our goal is to make sure your pet feels loved, safe, and happy whilst you’re away. 🧸 We live in our own house with a decent size fenced garden your little pup can enjoy. 🐶 The house is walking distance from Temple Newsam with lovely pathways and plenty of greenery. 🌲 We are happy to take different types of bookings and will try and be there for those last minutes ones too! 🏖️ For bookings longer than a week please do reach out as we can be flexible as we both have a mixture of work from home days and we can change them where necessary. 🛋️ We sometimes care for more than one dog when it’s a good fit, but if your pup prefers to be the only one, just let us know — we’re happy to accommodate. 🦮 Thank you! ☺️

🌟 When pets stay with us, I make sure they feel right at home. We create a cozy, pet-friendly space where they can relax, play, and explore. We stick to their usual routines, from feeding times to favourite toys and sleeping spots, so they feel secure. We also ensure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and, of course, affection, just as if they were my own.

This is our second time using Sophia and Mike to care for our dog Reggie and once again, it was another fantastic experience. Reggie was with them from Saturday - Monday and during this time, we received plenty of updates and photos showing how settled and happy Reggie was, which really put our minds at ease whilst we were away, and it was even more special seeing how comfortable and content he was with them again. We genuinely cannot fault their care, communication and the love they have for Reggie and won’t hesitate to book them again. We highly recommend Sophia and Mike to care for your pets as they are very caring and trustworthy🤩
Our cockapoo Reggie had his first sleepover away from us and family and we had full trust in Sophia and Mike to care for him like we do, and they were fantastic. The communication was excellent and they provided us with regular photo updates whilst he stayed with them which really put us at ease. Reggie can be a nervous and unpredictable dog at times but they were very attentive to his needs and looked after him the way we wanted. We would highly recommend them to take care of your doggies and will 100% be booking again✨🐶🤍
Bertie really enjoyed his time spent with Xinyuan. Communication was fantastic with regular updates and photos throughout the day. Nothing seemed too much trouble Highly recommend this sitter and can’t wait to use again in the near future
Outstanding, caring, wonderful people! We have never left our 2 year old pebble with anyone before but Sophia and Mike were wonderful. Sent us updates throughout pebbles stay and she absolutely loved her stay in great surroundings! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone!
We had a wonderful experience. Marlow had an amazing time and communication was faultless. Amazing updates throughout the day and I could tell Marlow had a lovely time on pick up. Looking forward to the next booking and would definitely recommend.
We want to give Sophia and Mike 5stars for making our dog welcome, relaxed and entertained. The very regular photo updates ensured we knew our dog had everything he needed for a great stay. He looked very chilled and comfortable. They were very attentive to Reks’s needs and looked after Reks in the way we wished. Their home, garden and lifestyle are set up to provide everything your dog needs. I would rush back to engage their services in the future.

Personality and Temperament: Understanding your pet's behaviour—whether they’re shy, social, energetic, or laid-back—helps us tailor our approach to their needs. 2. Routine and Schedule: Knowing your pet’s daily routine, including feeding times, walk schedules, and bedtime, allows us to keep their day as consistent as possible. 3. Health and Medical Needs: Any medical conditions, allergies, or special dietary requirements are important for me to be aware of. We also need to know if they’re on any medications and how to administer them. 4. Favourite Activities and Toys: Learning what your pet enjoys most, whether it’s a specific toy, game, or activity, helps us keep them happy and engaged. 5. Triggers and Fears: If your pet has any specific fears (like loud noises or certain situations) or triggers, it’s important for us to know so we can avoid causing them any stress. 6. Social Preferences: Understanding how your pet interacts with other animals and people helps us manage social situations, whether on walks or during visits. 7. Commands and Training: If your pet knows specific commands or is in the process of training, we like to be consistent with those to reinforce good behaviour. 8. Emergency Contacts: Having your vet’s contact information and any emergency instructions is essential for your pet’s safety while they’re in our care. Gathering this information ahead of time ensures we can provide a smooth, stress-free experience for your pet, keeping them comfortable and happy while you’re away.
