Xinyi did a great job taking care of our dog. She kept us updated, communication was smooth & our dog seemed to really enjoy it in her care (which is really not a given with him 😅).
I am very pleased with Xinyi! She provided daily updates with photos and messages that gave me peace of mind knowing my cat was safe and happy. Whenever I had a question or wanted an update, Xinyi would answer right away, which made the whole experience even more reassuring. My cat clearly felt comfortable and happy with her, and you can tell she is truly passionate about animals. I highly recommend Xinyi to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!

Sie hat sich im Vorfeld die Zeit genommen, uns persönlich zu treffen, was mir ein sehr gutes Gefühl gegeben hat. Während meiner Abwesenheit war sie äußerst zuverlässig und hat mich regelmäßig mit Updates und vielen Fotos auf dem Laufenden gehalten. Selbst bei kleinen Dingen hat sie nachgefragt, um sicherzustellen, dass alles gut läuft. Matilda war nach ihrer Zeit mit Xinyi total entspannt und ausgeglichen. Ich kann Xinyi wirklich wärmstens empfehlen! Englisch: Xinyi was an amazing dog sitter for my Matilda. She took the time to meet us beforehand, which gave me a lot of confidence. During my absence, she was extremely reliable and kept me updated with regular photos and messages. She even asked about the small details to make sure everything was perfect. Matilda came back relaxed and balanced. I can highly recommend Xinyi!
We were looking for a reliable, competent and friendly sitter for our dachshund Ernie during our one-week vacation. Xinyi responded very quickly to our inquiry and also to all subsequent messages. At our first meeting we immediately had a good feeling, she listened carefully and had already read the information in Ernie's profile on Rover. Xinyi had very good contact with Ernie. We received updates with photos from her at various times. Even when we had questions, there was always a very good exchange without hesitation and the communication went very well. She also responded empathetically to our wishes. Overall, our experience was that Xinyi is a reliable, trustworthy, loving and dedicated dog sitter with whom Ernie was in very good hands. We will gladly book Xinyi again at the next opportunity.

Ich bin ein Master-Studentin und schreibt derzeit meine Abschlussarbeit, so habe ich einen sehr flexiblen Zeitplan und kann für Tiere mit kurzfristiger Ankündigung kümmern. ----- I am a Masters student currently writing my thesis, so I have a very flexible schedule and can care for animals with short notice.

Ich lebe mit meinem Partner in einer geräumigen 2-Zimmer-Wohnung. Da ich die meiste Zeit von zu Hause aus arbeiten kann, kümmere ich mich um die Bedürfnisse der Hunde (Spaziergänge, Toilette, Essen und Trinken) und leiste ihnen den ganzen Tag über Gesellschaft. ----- I live with a partner in a spacious 2-room apartment by ourselves. I provide for the needs of the pets (walks, bathroom, food and drink) and keep them company while working at home (or at yours depending on the situation). Within a 3 minute walk is the Landwehrkanal where we like to go for walks.
A typical day
An einem typischen Tag wache ich auf, wenn Ihr Hund aufwacht, und gehe mit ihm auf einen Morgenspaziergang (und eine kleine Apportierrunde, falls nötig) entlang des Landwehrkanals und zu unserem örtlichen Hundetreffpunkt, dem Wildenbruchplatz. Zu Hause bekommt der Hund dann ein Frühstück oder ein kleines Leckerli, ich erledige meine Arbeit zu Hause, bevor wir gegen Mittag eine Toilettenpause einlegen. Nachmittags dasselbe Schema. Abends sitzen wir dann meist zusammen vor dem Fernseher auf der Couch, bevor wir einen letzten Spaziergang vor dem Schlafengehen machen. An den Wochenenden fahren mein Partner und ich mit besonders energiegeladenen Hunden gerne in den Treptower Park, wo wir ein gutes, abgelegenes Plätzchen mit viel Raum zum Apportieren und Chillen kennen, oder in den Planterwald, um längere Wanderungen zu machen. ----- On a typical day I wake up when your dog wakes up, take him/her out for a morning walk (and a light fetch session if needed) along the Landwehrkanal and our local dog hangout, Wildenbruchplatz park. Then at home the dog gets breakfast or a light treat, I get my work done, before we go for a bathroom break around noon. Same drill in the afternoon. In the evening we usually enjoy some TV time together on the couch, before a final bathroom walk before bed. On the weekends my partner and I like to drive extra energetic dogs to Treptower Park where we know a good secluded spot with lots of space to play fetch and chill for the whole day, or to Planterwald to go on longer hikes.
