Highlights
Pet care experience
Love dog, cat, horse and frog.
I have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I personally cared for my Shiba Inu for three years, including daily feeding, walking, playtime, grooming, and keeping a consistent routine. I also provided in-home care for a kitten for two months, making sure she was fed on schedule, had a clean litter box, received plenty of playtime and attention, and felt comfortable and safe in a new environment. I have also cared for a friend’s Golden Retriever for a month while they were traveling abroad. I handled his daily walks, feeding, playtime, and general care, while giving him plenty of companionship and attention. I’m comfortable following each pet’s individual routine, personality, and care instructions, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment for pets, whether they stay in my home or I care for them in their own home. I don’t smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and I’m respectful of the home and the owner’s routines and rules. I genuinely enjoy animals, reading, and going for walks, so I’m happy to spend plenty of time with pets throughout the day, especially if they enjoy companionship and interaction. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully and believe in responsible, science-based pet care rather than making assumptions about what a pet needs. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with regular photos and short messages, so they know how their pet is doing while they’re away. My goal is simply to keep pets safe, comfortable, and happy while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible.
Ratings and reviews
5 stars recommended Ruby! Ruby helped take care of my 6 years old female West Highland White Terrier, and she was wonderful with her. My dog really liked Ruby, and they had a great time together. My dog needs to be walked four times a day, and Ruby was very consistent about keeping up with her routine. I especially appreciated that after every walk, she would wipe and clean my dog’s paws with pet-safe wipes before coming back inside. She also spent plenty of time playing with her and giving her attention. My dog has some food allergies, so I was very careful about what she could eat. Ruby took this seriously and made sure she didn’t eat anything from the ground while they were out walking. During the month she cared for my dog, I regularly received photos and videos of them on walks and playing in the backyard. My dog always looked happy and relaxed. Ruby even took her to pick out some new toys, which was such a sweet touch. She was responsible, attentive, and genuinely caring. I would definitely recommend Ruby as a dog sitter.

Schedule
I work at a clinic on weekends, but I don’t have a regular job during the rest of the week. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of free time to care for pets. I’m available during most weekdays and can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate each pet’s routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship.
