I love animals and have kept, dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, and fish. Currently, I have two poodles, each weighing 8 pounds. Macy is a 10-and-a-half-year-old girl, and Rice is a mischievous boy I adopted last year, now 3 years old. Last year, I also adopted a 2-year-old Devon Rex cat. I don't need to work outside the home and have been a nonprofit volunteer for ten years. Because of my love for dogs and my long-term experience in animal care, I founded a non-profit animal rescue project in 2020. For the past five years, I've been finding new homes for stray dogs and cats. As of the end of November this year, I've helped 60 cats and 40 dogs find new homes. For the past five years, I've been a full-time volunteer for this project, and now I plan to take a break so I can spend more time with my beloved dogs :)

I walk the dogs 2-3 times a day. We have a fenced yard where the dogs can play. I also play various games with them every day. Besides their two meals a day, I give them some treats during the day, and I also grill some chicken breast slices myself (healthier, no additives). My happiest time at night is sleeping with them in bed. Before falling asleep, each dog gets a massage, which they all enjoy :)

My dog is a small breed, so I prefer boarding dogs weighing under 15 pounds so they can play together. When I was a volunteer, I've also fostered dogs weighing 26 to 45 pounds as homestays. However, due to the large size difference, they didn't get along well :( I don't want them to feel uncomfortable. If your dog weighs around 25 pounds and has a very gentle temperament, I might also consider having them over. If you are interested in boarding your dog at my home, we first need to schedule a "Meet & Greet" in advance so the dogs can meet and see if they get along. Additionally, the dog boarding will need to provide valid proof of rabies vaccination.

Every morning, my dogs wake me up. Then I go downstairs, open the yard gate, and let them pee in the yard. After that, I feed them breakfast, and seeing their pitiful eyes, I quickly put on my coat and take them for a walk nearby. For the next two hours, I'll open the yard gate from time to time to let them play. I'll also play fetch with them, brush their fur, and clean their eyes. During this time, I'll give them some small treats. In the evening, they'll have a hearty dinner, and then I'll take them for another walk. Before bedtime, each dog looks forward to a massage, and that's how the day ends.

I've been raising dogs since I was 25, for almost 28 years now. And I always prepare fresh food for my two dogs. My dogs sleep beside me in my bed every night. When I was younger, I had the experience of delivering a puppy (it just so happened, I was forced into the job). I cared for the newborn puppies until they reached adulthood.

Our dog absolutely adores her and she sends updates and pictures throughout the day, which I love! All round just a great experience! Knowing our fur child is in good hands makes me not have to worry.
My dog Coco had another wonderful stay with Xin! Xin provided daily updates with photos and videos which we always enjoyed to see. Coco enjoyed playing in her backyard and walking in her neighborhood. Xin makes healthy homemade dog food and treats—my dog absolutely loved them. All of this really shows how much she genuinely cares about dogs. Honestly, it felt like a vacation for my dog, one that she will truly miss. We’re so grateful to have found such a caring and reliable sitter through a friend.
I would recommend Xin to my family and friends. She kept me informed today 1, I was happy with the pictures and videos. I could tell my little Sebastian was enjoying his stay.
