ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. My first dog — Lucy, a Border Collie I had when I was 11 back in Shanghai, China — was my best friend for 16 years. Alongside her, I cared for a rescued stray cat "Noji" and an adopted poodle "Bebe" when I was 13, which taught me patience, responsibility, policing different pets, and how to understand different pet personalities. After moving to the U.S. for school, I brought home my baby Corgi "Brioche" in 2020. She’s now a 5-year-old certified service dog who’s friendly, well-trained, and walked three times a day for at least 30 minutes each time. I also helped train and kept a baby Devon Rex cat for my family in 2025. What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience with pets of different breeds, ages, and temperaments — from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I love fur babies more than anything and always prioritize their comfort, safety, and happiness.

Archie had a great time! He loved playing with Brioche, and it was so nice knowing he had a friendly companion to keep him entertained! I got updates throughout the day, and it was clear he was well cared for. I'd definitely book again!
Xiewen was amazing with Archie! She took such great care of him, and it gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands! She kept me updated, and it was obvious that Archie was happy and comfortable with her! It was also so nice to see how well Archie got along with her dog, Brioche! Brioche was incredibly cute and so friendly, and they had a great time together! I highly recommend Xiewen to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!
Xiewen took such great care of my dog while I was away for a week on a work trip. She made sure he got plenty of walks, stayed well-fed, and was clearly pampered with lots of love and attention. I especially appreciated how attentive she was—she noticed he had been licking his paws and proactively let me know, even offering a few suggestions that could help. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and observant hands. I would absolutely book with Xiewen again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring sitter!
Xiewen is truly the best. She took such amazing care of my Shih Tzu, Barley, every time she watched him in NYC. Barley absolutely adored her, and I always felt completely at ease leaving him with her because I knew he was in the most loving, responsible hands. She went above and beyond, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely cares about animals. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Schedule
I will be working part time starting summer 2026 in NYC, so my schedule is flexible, I'm available for daily walks, boarding both weekdays and weekends.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a 2 bedroom in FiDi close to battery park city. There are no crates and my corgi was never crate-trained. I don't have indoor pet potty so I almost only take my dog out for potty unless the weather is crazy. I have plenty of dog beds and toys.
