Loving and attentive pet sitter with experiences
I have many years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets. I raised my dog from a tiny 2 month old puppy, and he’s now nine years old. I also trained him to shake paws, lie down, roll over, walk backward, play dead, and wait for a command before eating. I also have an 5 year old cat, so I understand the different needs and personalities of both dogs and cats. I’ve previously helped neighbours look after their dogs when they were away. I’m very attentive to each pet’s unique habits and comfort levels. I love spending time outdoors playing fetch or simply exploring with dogs, and if your dog is older, I’d be more than happy to accompany them on slow, gentle walks. Even indoors, I’ll make sure they get lots of pats, cuddles, and company so they feel happy, relaxed and cared for.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently live in a shared house, so I’m unable to bring pets into my place. However, I take great care to ensure your pets feel completely safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I respect your space and any house rules you might have, will try my best to make sure everything stays clean and just as you left it! I’m very attentive and gentle with pets, always watching out for their comfort and stress levels. Whether it’s giving them quiet company, playtime, medication, or simply following their usual routine, I’ll do my best to keep them happy and relaxed. For walks, I make sure leads and harnesses are secure, avoid busy roads when possible, and tailor the pace to each dog’s needs, whether they love energetic runs or prefer slow, sniffy strolls. I believe in building trust with both pets and their owners, so you can feel at ease while you’re away!

Charly (Xiaoyue) has always been incredibly patient and caring with pets. A while back, their neighbour had a difficult pregnancy and Charly stepped in to look after their adorable golden retriever for a full two months, I could tell that the dog was happy, well-exercised, and never short on affection! Charly has also helped me by taking care of my cat quite a few times. During that time, my cat and Charly’s cat actually became the best of friends, it the sweetest thing to see them playing and cuddling together. Charly is very attentive and gentle. They know how to understand each pet’s personality and needs, and they love spending time with animals, they’re probably the kindest, most animal-loving person i’ve ever met. I trust Charly with any of my pets, and I know they’d be in the safest, kindest hands.

Schedule
I've recently finished my master’s at uni york and moved to Manchester for job opportunities, which means I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. As long as you let me know in advance, I can easily arrange my routine around your pet’s needs. Whether it’s daily visits, longer stays, or walks at specific times, I’m more than happy to fit it into my week.

The more I know, the better I can care for them!
