I keep all cats strictly indoors to ensure their safety and comfort. My two-story, 2,500 sqft home offers plenty of space for them to roam, with large windows and abundant sunlight for a cozy atmosphere. I’ve set up two water fountains, two scratching posts, two cat beds, and a large scratching pad on the first floor. Upstairs, I have three spare rooms, each about 100 sqft and equipped with windows. Each room has its own litter box, water fountain, food bowls, cat beds, cat houses, scratching posts, and toys. Because cats generally need at least one to two days (sometimes longer) to adjust to new surroundings, I place any first-time visitors in a private room for at least 24 hours. During this time, I check on them often to observe their behavior and decide whether they need more time alone. Once they have settled, they are free to explore the rest of the house. Then, they can roam around freely and play with the other cats. At night, I have all cats stay in their own rooms to prevent any issues that could arise while I’m asleep. After each cat’s stay, I thoroughly clean and disinfect the room and all items they used. If your cat is especially timid, isn’t comfortable around other cats, or if you prefer them to have their own space without interacting with others, please let me know and I can keep them in a private room for the duration of their stay.

* Special Needs: If your cat has any special requirements, please let me know ahead of time, and I will do my best to accommodate them. * Vaccination Requirements: To ensure the health of all cats during their stay, your cat must receive the FVRCP vaccine at least 72 hours before boarding (7 days in advance is preferred). Please send me the FVRCP vaccination certificate and proof of rabies vaccination prior to your cat’s stay. * Health Policy: I’m unable to accept cats that show signs of illness. If your cat appears to have a cold, infection, or any symptoms of a contagious disease prior to boarding, I will unfortunately have to decline. The health and safety of all cats under my care is my top priority. * Flea Treatment: Your cat must be flea-free upon arrival. To help ensure this, they should currently be on a topical flea treatment. If I find evidence of fleas, I will not be able to accept your cat for boarding. * Feeding: Please bring enough of your cat’s usual food. I will follow your feeding instructions to keep their routine consistent. In my experience, feeding cats their regular food helps minimize stress and maintain digestive comfort. * Supplies: I provide litter (Arm & Hammer Platinum SLIDE Clumping Litter), litter boxes, water dispensers, and food bowls. If your cat prefers its own supplies, feel free to bring them along.
A typical day
I will carefully monitor each cat’s mood, eating habits, and litter box usage, making sure to clean the litter box promptly. If the cat is comfortable with it, I can also clean their eyes, chin, and even their bottom. I will update you on your cat’s status at least once a day with videos and photos. If you have any special requests about how frequently you’d like updates or what form they should take, please let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

🐱 Cats only, no dogs or other animals 🐱 2500 sqft house filled with sunlight 🐱 Three 100 sqft private rooms with windows I have two wonderful eight-year-old cats, they are brothers I adopted from a shelter when they were just two months old. They may be on the larger side, but they’re both incredibly gentle and friendly with people and other cats. Friends and family who meet them always praise me for how well I care for them. Since I am home most of the day, I frequently help my friends with their cats, and they all trust me deeply. In November 2024, I began offering cat boarding services on Rover. So far, I have cared for over 60 different cats at my home, ranging in age from 2 months to 17 years, over one-third of whom have returned for repeat stays. Their owners have all been very satisfied with my care and the environment I provide. If you decide to board your cat with me, I will treat them as if they were my own. And I will send you daily photos and videos to keep you updated and reassured while you are away. I believe each cat is a unique treasure, and I know how important they are to you. They deserve the very best care, and I strive to give them exactly that. Because of my limited experience with dogs, I currently only offer boarding services for cats. Xiaoying provided impeccable care for my cat Paulie while I was out of state for the weekend. He had his own private room that was clean, bright and stocked with toys and tubes to play in and keep him occupied. She was so communicative, providing updates throughout that put me at ease knowing he was doing well. She also was extremely accommodating when an emergency came up and had to delay my pickup time. I have boarded my cat, Oreo, with her twice, and each experience has been wonderful. You can truly tell how much she loves and cares for animals. Her home is very clean, safe, and full of things that cats enjoy, which made me feel completely comfortable leaving Oreo in her care. Every day, she sent detailed updates with photos and videos, along with information about Oreo’s health, appetite, and overall well-being. I really appreciated how attentive and thorough she was. Most importantly, Oreo always comes home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It gives me great peace of mind knowing she is in such loving hands while I’m away. I would absolutely book with her again for future trips and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible pet sitter. This was our first time using Rover for our three beloved kitties. Xiaoying made the entire process easy. Our three boys spent a week with Xiaoying and from all the pictures and videos we received I can tell they had a great time!
