Xiaomeng was absolutely wonderful! She took care of Cookie for 2.5 weeks, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and caring, and it was obvious that Cookie felt comfortable and happy with her. Xiaomeng kept us updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Leaving your dog for that long can be stressful, but knowing Cookie was in such good hands made it so much easier. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog who clearly had a great time. 🥰 We’re very grateful to Xiaomeng and would absolutely trust her with Cookie again. Highly recommend! ❤️🐶

Schedule

I occasionally go into the office during weekdays, but also work from home. My husband works fully remotely, so there is always someone at home. Most days, I handle mornings and off-hours care, with my husband helping throughout the day. We have a 2-year-old who attends daycare Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasionally, our family may step out together for a meal. If your dog has any special needs or scheduling preferences, please let us know—we’re happy to be flexible and accommodate when possible.

Safety, trust & environment

We have one small resident dog, a friendly Maltese. Our home is set up with multiple kennels and training pads, creating a comfortable and low-stress environment where dogs can feel at ease. We also have a fully fenced yard and provide potty breaks every 2–4 hours, or more frequently based on each dog’s individual needs. Our home has two floors. The first floor features vinyl flooring, and the stairs to the second floor are carpeted. For dogs with mobility concerns, I can install a safety gate to block stair access or create a secure, enclosed area on the main floor to ensure their comfort and safety.

Pets

A typical day

We usually start our day around 8:00 AM. After I finish my son’s morning routine, the dogs go out to the fenced yard for their first potty break. Once they’re back inside, I prepare their meals and they eat alongside our family. If I go into the office, another family member is always home to manage care during the day, including yard breaks every 2–4 hours. In the afternoon or evening, either I or another family member takes the dogs out for a leashed walk. Dinner time for both the family and the dogs is typically around 5:30 PM. Evenings are calm and relaxed, and bedtime usually falls between 9:00–10:00 PM, aligned with my son’s sleep schedule.

Xiaomeng can host up to 1 pet per night
Please let me know any important details about your dog in advance, such as separation anxiety, medication instructions, or special routines. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I only accept small dogs (for example, Dachshunds, Shih Tzus, etc.). My own dog is not comfortable around large or aggressive dogs. I host up to two new client dogs at a time, and may accommodate one to two additional dogs from repeat clients. I do not board unspayed dogs under five months old, as my dog may bully younger puppies. Our family schedule is generally flexible, but advance notice is always appreciated. If all goes smoothly, I typically send photo and video updates in the evening after 9:00 PM.
