Her young daughter also grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, and she’s just as gentle and caring. Pets in their home feel completely relaxed and at ease — it’s like a second home. My husband may occasionally be at home but is not involved in pet care. For cats, I create a cozy indoor environment with plenty of toys and stimulation. We’ll play with feather wands, scratching boards, or enjoy a calm brushing session. I also make sure they get quiet, reassuring companionship so they feel safe and at ease in their familiar routine.
