K9 Handler/Trainer USMC VETERAN

Hi, I’m Xena! I’m an obedience Trainer! Have you been finding it hard to find a GOOD and regular caretaker for your dog? If so, you’re talking to the right gal. I do boarding and training as a full time profession as well as teach Pet CPR and First Aid. You can rest easy knowing I will be available for your next trip. I also am able to take care of last minute bookings. PICK UP/DROP OFF services are available for clients interested, just ask. If your pet has e-collar training, I can maintain the training during the stay as I am an e-collar Trainer. Although all guest areas are fenced, your dog will be able to finally run as fast and free as they like in my guest areas, as well as play time with other dog friendly dogs if appropriate. My dogs Ventura, MONiCa!! and K9 Piper are kept separate from all other dogs boarding (they are friendly with other dogs though). When I am not home your dog will be kenneled in an AC/Heat controlled kennel room as well as overnight for the safety of the dog (ie so they don’t chew something without supervision‘s etc.) Your dog will love our 5 acres of open space! I currently do not accept human aggressive dogs (meaning they have a bite history) but inquire if you aren't sure if your dog fits this category. I do require a meet and greet prior to finalizing booking to get to know more about your pet. When your pet is with me, you only need to pack food, and their flat collar. I provide bedding if appropriate, bowls, toys, kennel etc. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! Please shoot me a message with your questions! EXPECTATIONS DURING STAY I require all clients to provide me with their direct cell number so I can send you pictures and videos during your pets stay (the platform messaging system takes too long to upload videos and photos during sending). I ask that all client make sure their emergency point of contact info is up to date on their profile. Food during the stay needs to be bagged in daily portions. Please include specific instructions for any medication. Dogs must have a standard, correctly fitting flat collar for their stay. Ecollars and harnesses do not substitute but they can be included. Pick up/Drop offs are conducted 8 AM to 9 AM and 3 PM to 5 PM. We will determine your pick up/drop off at the time of booking.

Xena and her assistant trainer Taylor were fantastic! They took very good care of our rambunctious boy Arthur. Our guy is 70lbs and still has a bit of a wild puppy energy and behaviors that would be too much for some. It wad a releif to know these ladies were able to handle him and take excellent care of him while we were out of town. Would certainly recommend them.

I have 2 young small dogs that are inside dogs and have lived on a farm for their entire lives. This sitter was good for a sudden work trip I had to take. Xena was very detailed and upfront of most of her policies regarding the girls stay. However, this was not like other Rover boarding experiences. This sitter has only 2 drop-off / pickup times---no exceptions. Past sitters provided a nice balance of updates and photos/videos. A drop off on Wednesday afternoon netted a single video, one video/brief update on Thursday midday and a video/photo but no updates on Friday. When I picked them up Saturday morning at 8 am I was told during they only ate their treats while there----but no dog food was returned. They were healthy, well cared for but as a Dog Mom I am looking for a little more attention and updates from the Rover sitter.

Xena and her crew gave great care to my two senior dogs. Both were happy and calm when I picked them up. Medications were administered. Xena was very patient with helping me navigate an unfamiliar part of Florida.

Xena’s Pack was wonderful and Scout seemed to enjoy it and was happy. The videos and pictures I received during his stay reinforced that I made the right decision by choosing Xena.
