I have a fully fenced yard, with a large covered patio area all for the dogs! I allow the dogs lose in my home depending on their routines at home. I live in a neighborhood backing a large walking field giving me lots of areas to take the dogs for a walk aswell

I have many years experience with dealing with all different types of dogs. I have had my home open to other peoples pets for several years and enjoy the ongoing love and silly personalities of all the dogs I look after big and small. I welcome the dogs into my home like they are my own.

After only 19 hours into a two-week booking, Xana refused to continue caring for our pets. I was outside of Canada at the time, and having to urgently coordinate a new place for the pets was extremely stressful. The situation and the way the communication unfolded were so overwhelming that my wife ended up needing to go to the emergency room. Xana mentioned she was afraid of our dog because he growled at her, but he never attacked her or did anything that put her safety at risk. We were very sad and honestly surprised, as we did not expect a professional pet sitter to become afraid within the first hours of the stay simply because a dog was adjusting to a new environment. Because of this experience, we no longer feel confident using Rover’s services. It is clear to us that the sitter was not prepared for this situation.
