Safety, trust & environment
I like to go over a typical schedule to make my care for your pets as smooth a transition and small a change as possible. Each pet is unique in their needs. Some dogs enjoy being crated, some resist it. Some cats are allowed outside, others aren't allowed in the bedroom because they'll hide in strange places. Your pet deserves care as unique to them as they are.
Information Xan N. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any unique behaviors or quirks I should look out for. I'd also love to discuss what keywords you use to communicate with them (i.e. if the commands are English or another language, if you use "down" vs "off", or handsigns!)
A typical day
I love to enrich your pet's experience- work on learning new keywords, smell all the wonderful scents on walks, or speed walks up to small dashes to get energy flowing! Fetch is always a favorite, and similar games we can play to have an awesome day.

Looking for animal friends 🌼
Pet care experience
Playful pets and lazy pets, cuddly pets and certified grumps, every animal I know is unique and I love getting to know their personalities and quirks. My love for animals began when I was very little; making new friends is delightful and leaving them behind can be so hard. After 7 years of petsitting off and on, I've met so many sweet animals that have distinct needs. Hiding medication in hamburgers, lifting weak hind legs to get on the sofa (it was totally allowed), catching excited tripod dogs on slippery hardwood floors, playing rapidfire catch with 2 balls because someone refuses to release, standing next to food dishes to keep cats company so they eat, filling food dishes and turning away for ten minutes so they magically empty! Cats, critters, small dogs, 140 lb dogs, tiny babies that need close attention, older friends who need assistance sometimes, I love to care for them all. And I am always ready to care for more! Before accepting your booking, I will ask to meet you and your pet, to make sure I am the right fit for your family.
Reviews

Xan is great! I never have to worry when I’m away because I have full confidence that my cat is well taken care of.

Xan really does a great job every time she takes care of my two cats. She sends great pictures and always communicates any concerns. I am so grateful that Xan has been able to visit my cats each day when I am out of town. It brings me a lot of peace knowing that my sweet girls have such a good pet sitter. Thank you so much Xan!

Amazing, as always!

Xan took good care of my two cats for two weeks! She is very caring and detail oriented.
