I currently work a few freelance remote type jobs, so my schedule is very flexible. As such adding in dog walking, and house sitting is no additional strain, and actually a welcome addition to my schedule!

My care for your pet starts with the care guidelines you provide! Depending on your pet, the experiences develop from there. If you have a high energy dog, then lots of walks and stimulating activities will be added in. If you have an older dog, then making sure their health is in good order is paramount and giving them plenty of attention and what ever else they need is the main goal. Beyond all this, keeping in contact with you the owner and providing daily updates at the interval you desire is important to making sure you feel comfortable with me watching your beloved pet.

I'd like to know about the dog's personality and any sort of medical conditions as well as what rules you have for them so that I don't spoil them and introduce any bad habits
A typical day
We will go for long walks, play fetch if they do, go to the dog park if they like playing with other dogs. I also am happy to take them to a dog beach to swim if they are behaved off leash and like to swim. Finally, I will give them numerous pets and belly rubs.

Pet care experience
I'm the guy walking down the street who see's a dog and asks to pet it before becoming best friends with it. I grew up with dogs before coming to Los Angeles and have been watching dogs on Rover since 2018. I can not currently have a dog of my own, so I'd like to dog sit in the meantime so I can still have dog time. I have experience with all sizes of dogs and particularly love the large breeds. In my eyes, they're all still lap dogs no matter the size. I grew up with a dog with PTSD from a rough early life so I have experience working with skittish and shy dogs. I also had dogs who lived to very old ages so I have experience as well with dogs who need medication and specific care.

Thank you to Wyatt for doing a great job with my dog who has a lot of anxiety minus the fireworks. He is a big dog and I know can be a lot to handle.
Wyatt was absolutely fantastic with our Labrador Retriever while we were away for over two weeks. From the moment they met, my dog was instantly comfortable with him, which gave us a lot of confidence. Throughout our trip, Wyatt sent regular updates with photos, which was incredibly reassuring. It was obvious our dog was happy, well cared for, and having a great time. Wyatt took him on walks, gave him plenty of attention, and genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with him. It’s clear that Wyatt truly loves dogs, and that showed in the care he provided. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely trust Wyatt with our dog again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.
