I'm currently a student enrolled in online classes. I work from home mainly. Apart from the occassional coffee shop session, I am able to be with your pet(s) and in your house making sure everything is as it should be. While you are away, I am giving them the attention and presence they need to feel safe and calm. I must be seen to be believed. Your neighborhood will know I am taking care of your pets and your house.

If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I make it a priority to maintain their routines. I love lists! The more detail the better!! I follow any specific instructions you provide, from meal preparations to exercise needs, and ensure your home stays clean and organized. When I meet with a client, I like to be told every last detail. Do they have a habit of drinking out of your water glass while you brush your teeth? Is there a favorite treat they like after a walk? When I meet with you and ask questions, I'm trying to be your copy. Whether it's my voice or how I move when I'm around them, I like to know everything so I'm prepared for my stay.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs I need to account for. The more I know about them, the better. What are their triggers? Do men on the street make them nervous? Have they had problems with other dogs on a stroll? Are they prey driven? Do I need to make an extra effort to have them drink water? This is your time to overshare.
A typical day
For energetic pups, we’ll enjoy plenty of playtime with fetch and tug of war. Daily walks and trips to the park offer new sights and smells to explore. I'm bored easily. I like to explore the neighborhood and see new sights. I will try and give your animal the same experience I would want. For more laid-back pets, I provide cozy cuddle sessions and gentle play with favorite toys. Relaxing strolls are my jam. Cats get special consideration. I've had experience with aggressive and riduculously affectionate felines. Feather toys are my favorite. I see it as a form of fishing. I try to make play stimulating for the both of us. Whatever toys they like, please let me know how to play with them.

Every animal is unique and requires patience and loving attendance. I give that to every pet. I take my job as caretaker very seriously. And I do my utmost to make sure your animal(s) and your home are safe while you are absent.

Wren was fantastic sitter! She followed my preferred routine, provided frequent updates and photos, was responsive, as well as clean/tidy (she even washed my sheets and remade the bed!). This was my first time having someone stay in my home to watch my pets (1 dog, 2 cats) and I felt fully comfortable which was a big relief because it was a last minute request. Thank you, Wren!

We had the great fortune of having Wren house sit our golden while we were out of town and definitely recommend working with Wren! Communication was great, received plenty of updates (photos and videos) and the house was in tip top shape when we returned! Maize was happy all week and very well taken care of!
Wren took such great care of my dogs and my home! She took my dogs for lots of walks, and I came home to happy dogs, a tidy house, and reports from neighbors about how great our sitter was. Fantastic!
