Friendly Animal Lover for Home Care
Growing up, my family always had pets in the home. We had cats and dogs at various times, and even guinea pigs, hamsters, and the occasional fresh water fish! My first puppy was a tiny little Bichon who I named Cotton because he looked like, well, a giant bouncing cotton ball. I currently have two older cats, Shane MacMeowan (any Pogues fans out there?) and Mogwai. They were adopted together, already bonded brothers, who were apparently found left in a box. The two were rescued, and I have been living with them ever since. They turned 13 in November. Other than my own pets, I have housesat various homes of family members (and a couple non-family) to take care of their pets while away. Because I do not have proper space for a dog currently, I especially love getting a chance to play with and care for them while their humans are away. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! I also work in housekeeping, and can include some light housework for overnight stays if desired.

Safety, trust & environment
Lots of walks and playtime will fill up the day for pets that are up to that, and lots of rest for older dogs who may be unable to run around as much as they once did. I will pay attention to any and all of your pets special needs as provided, providing a safe and smooth experience for everyone.

We've had Winter watch our girls multiple times now and really appreciate her attention to detail. This time she was very flexible and managed to squeeze us in even though she had conflicts so we have just really appreciated working with her.
Winter’s always great with my little pooper, patient with his separation anxiety and good company. He’s always excited to see her!
Winter did a great job watching our pups while we were out of town. She made sure to keep us updated and was willing to help out with other little things like watering plants as well. We really appreciated her updates on schedule and information and of course pictures. Overall, I would definitely recommend Winter and happily have her watch our pups again.
Winter was a reliable communicator and all my pets were relaxed when we returned home, which has not always been the case when we have travelled without them. Winter was good about sending pictures and updates. I would rebook.
She always does a great job with my goober! I love that they chill so well together and that she’s flexible with my sometimes still fluctuating schedule. Winter is reliable and a good communicator. Highly recommend to sit your fur friend!
Winter was so great with our Phoebe! Pheebs can be very anxious with new people and Winter took the time to make sure she was comfortable. She was patient with her and we really appreciated it!

Schedule
I currently work as a housekeeper so am never away for more than about four hours at a time. Lots of time for walks, play, and cuddles! I am still able to be contacted during cleaning hours, so there will be no worry while your pet is under my care.
