I am currently working as an on call shelter support specialist for our local homeless shelter in Roseburg Oregon. I am also an online student. I am frequently taking walks as a way to clear my mind and add light physical activity to my days. Walking pets or letting them out to go potty would easy fit into my already flexible routine.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a yard but I am walking distance to many different parks and also am not opposed to driving my furry friends to the dog park. I am a firm believer in keeping all pets leashed unless in a space certified for unleashed pets and/ or the fenced yard of the pet owners. I always have fresh clean water for my pets, on hot days I’m likely to put ice in their water. All pet parents are different and I think what’s most important is to follow the care directions that are provided by the pets parents

Information Winter O. would like to know about your pet
Please share with me what time your pets eat and how many times a day, all parents routines are different. Also please let me know of any medical needs your pet might have and what signs to looks for. If your pet is taking medication times and amounts for those as well.
A typical day
In a typical day we would go for a few walks with plenty of time to smell all the smells. We would watch tv where hopefully the fur baby would be open to some cuddles and if available we would play tugawar, keep away, or fetch depending on what the baby wanted to do.

Our pets are our family
Pet care experience
I have been fortunate to share my life with many pets, and each one has had my whole heart. I believe our four-legged friends deserve the same respect, care, and patience that we would offer any member of the family. As a nontraditional student completing my bachelor’s degree at 28, I have learned the value of patience, responsibility, and mindfulness—qualities I bring with me when caring for animals. You can trust that when your pet is with me, they will be safe, nurtured, and genuinely cared for. Spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy, so this isn’t just a service for me—it’s a chance to share space with a furry friend and give them the love and attention they deserve.

Reviews

A really good dog sitter. Really responsive and care taking

Winter is probably the most communicative rover I’ve had! And while I may not have responded to all of them she never stopped sending. I could tell Peanut was well taken care of! Whenever she is available I would gladly have her watch peanut again!
Winter was so great at sending photo updates twice daily and was so kind and sincere to my dogs. Overall a great sitter and highly recommend !!

Spent over $11,000 on a vet stay and surgery because of the unsupervised time he was left alone with a chocolate muffin that was wrapped in plastic wrap. You have no right having my dogs pictures up on your profile. Because of you my senior dog has had to go through the most traumatic time of his life. If you have any respect for dogs you would take down those pictures of him.
