Aspiring to be a full time dog mom!
*(working on getting my profile updated, but I live in a house, with a fenced in back yard, and dogs are definitely allowed on the furniture lol!)* Hello! My name is Winter, and I have an unusual name but not an unusual passion; dogs!! I have owned dogs my entire life, as far back as I remember. My family told me while I was growing up that I was destined to be a veterinarian. The only problem with that is I actually love dogs a little too much for it! Therefore, I decided to try my luck with other forms of animal care. I have been professionally been walking, sitting, and boarding dogs for a total of about 6 years. I formed great relationships with clients who have previously asked me before to go private. I have experience with all sized dogs, with a perfect medium dog myself. I have seen all dog attitudes, witnessed plenty of attitude too! By the end of the first walk, I guarantee your pup and I will have captured each others hearts. Dogs look for leadership, and it never takes me long to win over their trust. I have spent years observing canine social behavior and utilizing my knowledge to provide comfort and most importantly, safety. I also love to teach people about what I’ve learned. Many of them never knew their "unruly" dog just wanted to tussle a little bit! I am also an experienced dog park goer, so I am comfortable with big dogs, small dogs, large groups of dogs, old dogs, new dogs, red dogs, blue dogs. Lol! On the flip side, I also enjoy spending one on one time with your pup, establishing a real connection and discovering their personalities. I am great with leash training and obedience training as well. Dogs are truly the most loving, loyal best friends who can surprise you every single day with their intelligence, leadership, compassion, and purity. What I'm trying to say is that I already love your dog, and I would LOVE to meet them and help them enjoy every single day that we get to love them right back!

Winter was fantastic with our two dogs. Both of our dogs are high energy (Australian Shephard and an Australian Cattle dog/Australian Shephard), and one has anxiety issues and can take longer to warm up to strangers. She was patient, worked with them, and took the time for them to become comfortable with her. She was very communicative, and sent great photos of them while we were gone. She was great giving them their medication as needed and really helped us out with a last minute booking. I would highly recommend Winter, and hope to use her again in the future!
Winter was fantastic with our mini aussie. She gave great updates and we could tell that Jasper was comfortable and himself around her. She left our home as if no one had been there at all and was always responsive with our messages. Would recommend her for dog sitting. And we hope to use her again in the future!
Winter was great! My animals seemed super happy and she left everything at home in perfect order!
I’m so glad I found Winter on Rover! She did an amazing job taking care of my furbabies. She sent me pictures and text updates, which made me feel so much more at ease knowing they were in good hands. I genuinely felt she cared for my pups as if they were her own. I’m extremely happy with her service and she’ll definitely be my top choice for dog sitting in the future!
Winter took amazing care of my home and dog when I had to go out of town on short notice! She was patient with my girl who can take a little time to warm up to someone new, and sent regular updates and photos to assure me they became great friends in no time! :) Its such a relief to have someone stay with my darling doggo that I really trust cares about providing the attention and affection she needs in addition to the essentials (food/water/bathroom). I’ll be asking Winter to sit for us again next time for sure!
Winter was fantastic with our 2 extra large dogs (one elderly too). We are so grateful for her taking the time to learn their routine and keeping them so happy. No dog likes their family leaving but Winter loved on our boys and made sure they were happy for our full trip.

Schedule
I do work part time as a restaurant manager, so weekdays, I’m out of the house for six hours max at a time. I am fully available on the weekends. I know the essentials of the morning and evening routine, and we love to go for walks and play/take sun naps outside in the yard. 😊
