Tail Waggers Welcome!
*Re-opened: 06/25/2022* *Pick-up/Drop-off available, however, you must provide the rideshare expense (Uber/Lyft) to and from. As far back as I can remember I've always had dogs. They are the best fur buddies! Dogs are free to roam my home including being up on the furniture (if you allow it at home). There are large grassy areas (unfenced) that we can play in and exercise around on a leash! Every fur guest is treated like family. Special needs dogs are welcome! Any type of medication given (oral, topical, injected); no additional charge. *Dog preferences are preset to specific weight limits; I will board dogs up to 40'ish pounds. I must be able to carry the dog if an emergency situation occurs, ie. tornadoes. Please bring their specific food, and special toy(s). No need to bring a crate. Puppy rates only apply if they are not yet house-broken. If they are house-broken please let me know so I can adjust your rate before booking.

I would have told people that you live on the 2nd story and have such steep steps for sure. My dog was so scared she would not go down them even to go home much less to go potty. Do she used potty pads the entire visit. My wife had to carry her down the stairs. Then she ran away from the apartment. My dog NEVER runs! I was given half a bag of dog food back. In which it was measured exactly four the visit. The shouldn't have been any left. I don't know what she was feeding her. I got her home and she had the runs and it was bright yellow! It took almost week to get back to normal bowl movements. This when I need a sitter for the Christmas break as well! What to do now???
I can always count on Winter to keep up with my dog’s medication, keep me updated and give my pups affectionate attention. Much appreciated!

Winter did a wonderful job of keeping us informed about how our dogs were doing with pictures and comments. She is great at communicating, and is flexible and accommodating for special needs. Our dogs were calm and happy when we picked them up again.

When I have to go on a trip wether planned or unexpectedly I can always count on Winter to help me with my fur babies. They actually enjoy their time with her and I never have to worry how they are doing. I would definitely recommend Winter for all your fur kids needs, they will be glad you let them stay!
Winter is amazing! She took care of Bella like she was her own! I recommend her to anyone and look forward to working with her more in the future.
Winter was great! She agreed to watch Tyler on short notice and was very flexible on drop off and pickup. Tyler seemed to have a great time.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Fur babies have always been part of my family and I will treat yours as if they were my own. I will care for an additional dog from the same family if needed. However, I do not mix dogs from separate families unless both parties can provide a written statement that the dogs are well known and behaviorally tolerant of each other.
Pets
A typical day
