My husband & I are trained and certified in canine emergency first aid. We currently have 2 beautiful and amazing dogs that we are lucky to have chosen us to adopt them. Sunshine is our Mini Australian Shepherd and Tofu is our Yukon Special. We continuously strive to better ourselves as pawrents and thus, also the best dog sitters for your precious furry friends! We started with Rover as dog owners looking for reliable sitters to hire, so we understand what is it like having a stranger taking care of your furry babies & how stressful it can be. It is important for us to have a peace of mind knowing that our dearest furry friends are receiving the utmost care. We would love to extend this peace of mind to you too. We can promise you that we will take the best care for your pet(s), pay attention to them & complete all the tasks that are asked of us. Your pet(s) will be in good hands. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to schedule a Meet & Greet session. Boarding & Day Care: Your dog gets real one-on-one care & full attention. We give plenty of cuddles and scratches. This is a perfect place for dogs that need socialization. Dogs are allowed to play with one another in our family home, learn boundaries & have fun in a supervised safe capacity.

Winnie was wonderful and provided a great doggie daycare service for a young puppy who is not used to being alone. She was available short notice while I attended a work conference. She was able to meet me and my puppy in advance, she arrived on time in the morning to pick him up and she communicated during the day while he stayed with her. It was a great relief to count on her and to kjow he was happy and safe the whole day.
This worked out really well for me, and my puppy was really happy.

Programa
We wake up & attend to the dogs first thing in the morning. We are also with them when they go to sleep, for they will be in their crates in our room, so they are never anxious or lonely! We mostly work from home so we are around with your fur babies full-time. We enjoy having them & they always have a great time as well. They are usually on our laps or by our sides, if they'd like a cuddle, massage or scratch! We are open to last-minute bookings if needed. Please note that the flat rate for Doggy Day Care is for 8 hours. Any additional time is $5 per 1 hour block, up to a maximum of the day's Boarding rate.

We take the safety of pets in our care very seriously & do not take chances. Our property is thoughtfully designed & furnished for living with dogs. We also have indoor & outdoor security & pet cameras set up. Outside of the house, We have a fenced yard so the dogs can run freely & play safely together. In the snowy months, we build a maze in our yard so the dogs still have a lot of room to play together at & have a good workout. It is part of our routine to get all the dogs to go out every couple of hours to do their business & then get them back to drink some water! Our house backs into the green belt so there are plenty of great places to explore together! Within the house, we have pet gates set up at our staircase, helping to provide an extra layer of protection to keep the dogs safe & secured. We like to keep our home clean, healthy & safe, so we make sure that the cleaning & laundry products that we use are of high quality, clean, toxic-free, safe & effective. We also vacuum & steam-clean our floors. This is important to us as dogs tend to lay around a lot, including on places like the floor & carpets that we as humans may not consider too much about the safety of products being used in cleaning. We give our dogs clean, fresh & purified water from our water treatment machine, so this will also be what your dogs will get - the best. We also run the best performing air purifier in the market when we are at home so this is great for your dog too, whether or not it has seasonal allergies! I would encourage & recommend that you bring along your dog's crate/kennel to provide a comfortable, familiar & private space for your dog to rest & help it feel more at home during their stay.

Off our property, we have lovely trails nearby so we will take some adventures walking or jogging on the trails & around the neighbourhood. Dogs are always leashed to keep them & others safe, unless we are in a dog-friendly fenced area like the dog park, where we will assess the environment & overall safety with other dogs in the environment. On our property, we have a fenced yard. The dogs can play together under supervision after a positive introduction.
