I’ve been fostering dogs and cats for years through a local rescue and volunteering with the Humane Society of Charlotte. I’ve helped so many pets find loving homes, and through it all, I’ve gotten to know animals of all kinds. Nervous rescues, high-energy puppies, older dogs who just want their routine. I’ve seen it all and loved them all. As a fellow pet parent, I totally get how nerve-wracking it can feel to leave your fur baby with someone else. That’s why I go out of my way to make sure you feel at ease and your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Here’s what I always include: Safety first – I follow your instructions carefully and treat your home and pet like my own. Tons of experience – Fostering, volunteering, pet-sitting—you name it. I’ve got it covered. Updates whenever you want – Photos, messages, little check-ins. If you want to see your pup’s face, I’ll send it. Play, walks, cuddles – I match your pet’s energy. If they’re playful, we play. If they’re snuggly, I’m ready. Routines matter – I’ll stick to your schedule, help with meds, and handle any special instructions with care. Calm vibes – I’m a second grade teacher, so patience is basically my superpower—and yes, it works with dogs too. I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for whether they’re in my home or staying in their own. I follow their usual routine closely, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you leave. Safety is always my top priority, and I’m big on communication, so you’ll get regular updates and photos to stay connected. Whether your pet needs extra belly rubs, a long walk, or just some calm company, I’m here to make sure they feel relaxed and happy while you’re away.

Absolutely amazing cat sitter, truly the best! Schedule
Since I’m a teacher, my schedule’s pretty steady. I'm available after 5:30 PM on weekdays and fully open on weekends. And during summer break (June and July), I’m even more flexible with my time, so I can offer extra help whenever you need it.

- Let me know if they have any medical needs, quirks, or things that make them nervous. For dogs, it’s helpful to know if they’re house-trained, how they do on a leash, if they’re a flight risk, or how they are around other dogs and kids. For cats, I like to know if they’re super social or more on the shy side, and if they have any habits like scratching or biting. The more I know, the better I can make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away
