I own a sweet 1 year old shih tzu whom I adore. I ensure that she has plenty of time to play and meet other dogs. I give her weekly baths, brushings, and nail trims as needed. I find joy in loving her each and everyday of my life.

I like to remind myself that I am taking care of an animal that doesn’t always know what’s happening. I like to ensure that the animal I am caring for feels comfortable and safe at all times. I will listen to anything that the client prefers when caring for their pet and take it to heart. I want my client to be able to completely trust me in caring for their fur baby. If I am walking a dog I like to keep the dog close to me at all times to ensure peak safety. However, if there is a grass area that is safe for me to let them wonder, I will do so by loosening the leash a little bit.

I would like to know about any allergies they might have. I also want to know what their play style is whether they enjoy fetch or tug of war or something else. I also would like to know their favorite treats they are allowed to have.
A typical day
My typical day with a dog is to go out for a nice 30-60 minute walk in a nearby trail or neighborhood. After I like to give them a nice cool treat that will help them fight the heat of the summer. This can include frozen peanut butter or and ice cube. If the dog has mor energy to spend I love to play tug of war with them or even fetch.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up loving animals and finding joy in giving them the best life they can have. I have volunteered at dog shelters where I helped groom, feed and train dogs of all kinds. I also have experience working at a doggy daycare very close to my home. During my time at the daycare, I learned about all breeds of dogs and their temperaments. I have accommodated senior as well as handicapped dogs. I have experience medicating various dog breeds and have succeeded in medicating more stubborn dogs before. In addition to older dogs, I also have personal and professional experience working with puppies. I have trained puppies in the daycare’s board and train program. I have also trained my 2 dogs at home. Being a dog owner myself, I understand how hard it is to trust a stranger with your babies. I assure you that I will do my best to give your pup the best time when in my care!

Willow was great, she was accommodating and always flexible to our changing schedule. Baya loved it there with her and her little dog Suki. Willow had an understanding of canine behavior we didn't have and that was helpful. She went out of her way to make Baya comfortable.
Willow was a wonderful sitter for my senior dog. She kept me informed with pictures and texts about his stay. Willow was also very accommodating with drop off and arrival times since I accidentally listed the wrong times. We would definitely use her again.
