I am home full time and just becoming an empty nester, so I have plenty of time and attention to devote to our furry friends. Most days it will just be me and the animals on our wooded property so there’s plenty of time and room for relaxation and play.

I have a fairly large fenced yard and wooded surrounding property. My home is laid back and the animals are treated like family. They are welcome on furniture and have plenty of room to play and toys to play with. I just ask they be on tick and heartworm prevention as there are many bugs in the woods. I have regular experience with basic grooming and administering meds. I have crates available if needed or preferred. I’ll do my best to care for them as you want.

I want you to be completely comfortable leaving your pet with me, so please let me know anything I need to in order to make them and you as comfortable as possible.
A typical day
I like to get outside in the yard first thing in the morning and let the dogs run around and play together to get some energy out and go potty. I give the dogs breakfast in the morning and then have them rest for about an hour before they get up and play again. On days when outside play is limited I provide enrichment activities inside, toys, and plenty of room for them to play with one another. When they get tired there are dog beds, crates, and couches throughout the house to rest on. In the evening after dinner, i have another rest period before the dogs can play again. Everyone is taken out to potty before bed, but there is a magnetic screen door so they can also go out as needed during the day.

I’ve had animals my entire life. My real passion is dogs and I’m focused on dog sitting/boarding/daycare, but I’m happy to take care of cats and drop in for other animals. I have owner trained one at home service dog and am in the process of owner training a public access service dog. I have two yellow labs (one bench, one field), a mixed breed rescue, and a cat. All my animals are very animal friendly. My big lab does take a noisy minute to adjust, but he’s a big sweetheart once he’s got the lay of the land. I have a yard with a living fence and a wooded property where the dogs can be walked if needed.
