I have been around larger dogs my entire life from German Shepherds to Great Danes, but also adore smaller dogs. I’ve taken them on countless walks and offered great companionship! I’m currently working from home and look for any excuse to get outside and give animals lots of love. Your pup or kitty will be integrated into my daily life and never be unattended. On the weekends, I love going on hikes in the D.C. area or even further in the mountains. I can absolutely take your pet with us if that is something you are comfortable with! Otherwise, we can accommodate any other activity you and your pet desires. I live in One bedroom apartment In Fairfax with outdoor access. I have a very flexible work schedule so I will always be available for potty breaks and outdoor fun. I frequent walks to get outside. Despite the lack of a yard, we have many dogs parks, close neighborhoods to walk through, and open spaces to play!

William was absolutely wonderful! Our dog had to have surgery the week before we left him with William, and he was very well taken care of. William was very flexible, working with our schedule and all of our dogs follow-up care. Our pup absolutely loved hanging out with William, as witnessed by the fact that he didn’t make a run for it as soon as we showed up, which is his usual MO :)
William was wonderful with Loki. He took the time to understand Loki's traits. He was good about updates and sending us pics.

Schedule
I currently work from home so my schedule is very open! My work schedule is also very flexible so I will have no problem taking multiple walks daily!

I am happy to crate a dog if you prefer that, but I would prefer to give them the lay of the land. The apartment is very tidy and there won’t be any issue with them getting into anything that could possibly harm them! There is a dog park less than a quarter mile away as well!
A typical day
A day would typically include long walks, and playtime at the local dog park off leash (if owner is comfortable with playing fetch off leash!). Right outside my apartment is miles of wooded trails so pups won’t get too hot from the sun!
