Seniors Caring For Seniors
Our first pet was an abandoned puppy we took in and cared for until we decided to end her pain at age 13. We took in two senior dogs when the owners could no longer care for them. We nursed one dog through kidney issues until it passed at age 12. The second dog gained new energy in its old age and thrived even though she went blind from Glaucoma. After living with Glaucoma, we sensed that she was in pain and chose to end her suffering. We look forward to assisting other senior dogs in making the best of the remaining years. I work from home on weekday mornings and have afternoons and evenings free. Our dogs enjoyed keeping me company in their bed alongside my desk while I worked. I have a large yard surrounded by trees, perfect for a dog who does not mind a leash and a tie-down. I enjoy taking walks in the nearby park and nature trails. We strive to provide joy through the simple pleasures: A delicious meal, belly rubs, playtime, walks filled with interesting smells, and the excitement of a car ride.

Bill and Linda are wonderful with our silky terrier, Barley! He is excited to stay with them. Barley gets a daily walk, lots of playing fetch, cuddles during thunderstorms, cozy time on the couch or recliner, and Bill sends us pictures each day. We love the communication! If Barley is not eating like he should, they’ll add in cooked carrots or other tempting treats so that he’ll eat. Thank you, Bill and Linda, for loving on our pooch!!

If we could give these guys 10 stars we would! Have to say this is the first time we left our little Abby EVER and did not worry about her one bit! Our only concern was that she would not want to come home! I certainly hope they are available for us next time we have to leave her. Absolutely wonderful people💕❤️

Schedule
I work from home as a Travel Advisor. I can take time as necessary for walks and playtime with my four-legged visitors. Evenings and weekends are mostly free and dedicated to pets and family

We live in a single-family home with a large yard. It's not a fenced area we can use a tie-up in the yard for dogs that like to wander outside the yard. We have several parks close by along with a nature trail that may provide an interesting adventure.
A typical day
I enjoy walking and playing in the backyard and well as nearby parks. On warmer days, I enjoy walking the trail in the nearby woods. We will give your pet a great vacation filled with new sights, smells, sounds, plenty of exercise, belly rubs, and extra treats.
