Pet care experience

Pets are our link to Paradise!

I grew up in a house that was always filled with pets and have carried that love of taking care of animals into my adult life. In my free time, I volunteer at BARCs and am certified in their cat and dog care programs. I have experience with dogs from the small to the large and with cats from the friendly to the, well, less friendly! I would happy to hear how I can help you with your pet!

My dogs took a liking to William right away and he seemed to do a great job meeting their needs, which was important. Great personality, knowledgeable, and very respectful.

Will was a great petsitter for Katsu and Cider, but we unfortunately cannot recommend him for anything beyond that. He smoked in our apartment (which is against our lease), ate his way through our freezer and nonperishables, slept in our only bed despite having previously agreed he was going home at night, broke our garbage disposal by leaving a spoon in there, and ruined our espresso pot by putting it in the dishwasher. He also left dirty dishes out and our furniture misplaced. None of this we found out about until we returned from our trip, as he failed to communicate any of it to us or ask about anything beforehand apart from a note he left behind for us to find. If he had just asked us instead of assuming he could do whatever he wanted in our home, most of these issues could have been avoided. He was in daily communication with us and we were always responsive. We would’ve cleaned up our bedroom for him and changed our sheets if he told us he was planning on staying over. Instead, he broke our mutual agreement and thoroughly invaded our privacy. Again, he was a fine sitter for our pets and spent a lot of time with them, but we hired him as a housesitter. He treated our home without care or respect—in a way that we wouldn’t even treat our own friends and family, much less a stranger—and we had to spend our own time and money fixing his mistakes.

William was an amazing dog sitter and walker. Very proactive in keeping me up to date with my fur baby while I was away in Canada. Charlie loved him. Can’t recommend William enough. Will hire again for future bookings!

I am working part time. I have a very flexible schedule and have reliable means of transportation. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise or just a couch snuggle buddy, I'm the one for the job.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a rowhome in the Bolton Hill neighborhood of Baltimore with my friendly cat, Munch. Munch is good with other cats and dogs, and can be separated and left on the second floor if your pet isn't the best with cats. I do not have a backyard but live in a peaceful neighborhood with easily accessible dog parks just right down the street. If you are interested in having me sit for your pet, I am happy to stay the night or just pop in and check on your buddy whenever needed. I have reliable transportation and a very flexible schedule!

Pets

A typical day

I live in a wonderful, dog friendly neighborhood and make sure to make the most out of it by taking the dogs im watching to one of the beautiful neighborhood parka and making sure they get lots of time outside to sniff and run around in the fenced sections of the parks. For my feline friends, I normally try and play/socialize with them 3-4 times a day and let them try their hand at the treat puzzles I have in the house for my cat.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
William can host up to 1 pet per night
I’m happy to accommodate any personality quirks or behavioral needs in your pets. I’d love to give them a chance to run around with other dogs/interact with my cat at home but if you’re uncomfortable with that and would prefer the pet stays on the leash/separated from my personal cat at home im more than happy to oblige! Whatever would make your pet and yourself the most comfortable.
