Experienced Foster Dog Dad!
Over the past five years, I’ve fostered dozens of dogs through a local Labrador Retriever rescue and helped more than 25 find their forever homes. Through that experience, I discovered my true passion — caring for older, well-behaved dogs who appreciate a calm, comfortable place to relax and feel at home. I work from home during the week, so your dog will have company and attention throughout the day. My home is safe, secure, and peaceful, with plenty of space for lounging, short walks, and a bit of playtime at their own pace. I’m also experienced with canine health and recovery (including heartworm treatment) and trained in dog massage and stretching — perfect for keeping those joints feeling good! If your dog enjoys a quiet, relaxed environment and steady companionship, they’ll fit right in here. I can’t wait to meet your pup and make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and cared for like family. NOTE: Pet owners are responsible for providing food, treats, etc. for their dog – please provide instructions! For boarding & day care guests, dogs must be spayed or neutered and current on core vaccinations.

I have a large, fenced yard, lots of comfy dog beds, and ample play toys for my guests. My home has 24/7 security cameras and I live with my black lab, Maisie.

Bill did an excellent job taking care of Oscar while we were out of town for a week. He sent pictures, took her for walks, and gave her plenty of playtime in his backyard with his dog, Maisie. He also made sure she took her daily arthritis pills. Oscar came home happy and tired. Will definitely book with bill again and highly recommend him.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible as I work from home, so I have a lot of time to interact, play and bond with your dog.

- Prefer to manage mature dogs (3 years old minimum), rather than puppies or high energy pets. Of course, my breed preference is for labs, but I'm open minded about all breeds.
